The old prototype performs very well off as little as 120 watts. i can finally replace that stiff-as-a-rock samsung woofer we have! it it deeper than 7 inches? my only limiting spec for the box we have. other wise, i will make a nice low ported black cube, just lookin for a reason You're going to want to make a new box.

Shouldn't have to worry about harming your subs if you have the proper electrical and have your gains set right. The Q's will do great, but as bigjon said, the BL's might be more up your alley. 32-34 Hz would be a good tuning point.

When you say "set your hz" are you referring to your subsonic filter?
