Ok so i figured this would probably be the most reasonable place to put this question. I have an Autotek 7100bts. Does anyone actually use these things with subwoofers or do people only use them for hi's? I was considering using it for a sub amp but everywhere i read people put them on 6x9s or on component sets. any info would be appreciated. Oh i know this is dumb question but what about putting to Icon D1s on it and running it at 4 ohms? wonder what would happen?

yeah thats why i got 2 ICON 10s so that i can show all the peeps around here that 10s can get loud as or louder than 15s

OK so 1/4 of the system is done. I have a AVIC-D3 headunit. And 2 10"D1 ICONS. So now i need an amp that either puts out 1800-2000 watts rms at 1ohm or 4ohm. Whats the pros or cons of running at 4ohm instead of 1ohm or vice versa. Thanks for the input. Oh and the box is going to be ported. At first to speaker specifications then gradually bigger until im happy

K got the deck installed. I'm extremely happy with it. While it was down i ran all of my RCAs and my remote wire so now all i have to do is finish building the box for the Icons and run the powe rand ground wire

steve i was wondering why the 3Sixty? I thought it was only really helpfull if you were sticking with say the factory headunit. Is it that helpful with all aftermarket stuff? just wondering.

I'm kinda glad someone bumped this. I hadn't noticed it before. Now i'm even more excited about getting my subs. Some guys from the shop were starting to think that it wouldn't live up to the hype that i was giving it. But now i'm sure it will.

I couldn't decide for the longest time and now i've finally decided. And i'm going with AVIC-D3. I bought it today now its just a matter of time until i get it in. Hopefully tomorrow. I was bored so figured i'd post. Feel free to tell me what u think about it.

No its not a big deal man. I don't blame U. Just the UPS. But yeah i got the stickers and shirt right away. Wore them to work. And put the stickers on the car immediately after tinting it. Of course they were sent by the USPS. Maybe thats why they were on time. Oh and the shirt shrank. So i'm probably gonna have to order another one. Sorry for stealing the thread btw. I think the build is awesome.
