i did, no burn marks, loose connections.. etc. but i know it doesn't have to have burn marks and things like that. What kind of electrical system was it hooked up to? Have you tried a different one?

Shizzzon to chew on his feet some more. That guy is amazingly good at reading things on the internet and not at all understanding them. Obvious to me why he "box consults" privately as I am sure his recommendations are jacked and he doesn't want them in the public eye. I do imagine that is the one thing he is somewhat proficient in, but he doesn't know why. Everytime he posts about anything else it is nonsense. He asks basic 101 car audio questions and really thinks the answer is something he already knows all the time. Preaches the gospel but has never taken a step back to think. I really can't think of a thread where I have read his post and said, perfect right on. Not one of them. And he runs around advising everyone which is scary. Makes me wonder about the bass threads that I ignore, if they are following his advice I'd be scared. I know I'm not nearly as knowledgeable as you, but I normally look over every thread.

That calculator isn't known for being the most accurate. I got 2.10 Ft3 after all displacements tuned to 31.94 Hz. with 26 in2 port area, you would benefit from more port area.

yeah i have heard the kicker L7's from 10''s in a sealed box up to the 15 in a vented box. The L7 is not bad it has alot of lows but the mids are kinda missing I own the round version of the L7 called the Cvx it gets low and plays mids well but they are to main stream and ppl say they sound like crap but if your looking for deep bass they are not bad at all. I own a Kicker Cvx 15 and a kicker zx1000.1 CVX > L7
