  1. Oh, exactly 3,400 watts huh? Did it start to stink at 3,401 watts? Read the above post form me, thank you.
  2. The glue that holds your motor together softens at about 500 degrees Fahrenheit, if the outside of your basket by your mounting holes are getting hot to the touch you would have a big problem, it can be from the air in the enclosure, but that is rare. It's just heat from the environment.
  3. No, as discussed in your own thread you cannot make any sub into a Fi sub, they do not have foreign parts, as they are completely American made. If you are able to recone them, you have NO idea how they would perform.
  4. It can't handle that for long. Junior, you need to work on your physics a bit more. With any subwoofer you have to choose, high efficiency, small size, or low end extension, pick two. That person obviously picked small size and low end extension, as his system is EXTREMELY inefficient, hence it takes 6Kw to reach his desired output level.
  5. PM me what two 12" ports will be to 84401, please
  6. Same with us down here, lol.

Yeah, nothing to be proud of. Lol
  8. Erm... The average peak for all the enclosures I've designed for the N3 is 5 Hz. below tuning, just as your post earlier suggested. I read that as, tuning on paper was 38 Hz. and you are peaking at 32 Hz.
  9. wanting to do a custom psi recone David doesn't know a damn thing about the ICON, I would never even let him touch one.

Sounding "fine" to you does not mean they sound good...

I always send mine from Yahoo, but of course my yahoo account is: [email protected] What I wouldn't do is send it from an account like: [email protected] I concur
  13. Not really, they do not perform like normal woofers, as they tend to peak about 5 Hz. below tuning very consistently, but it's not a big issue.

    Pretty much
  15. With emphasis on the word "guideline".
  16. The title says differently, lol
  17. You gave no clue as to what you would want in a system, SOOOOOO I recommend the one with the subwoofer that makes the biggest boom booms.
  18. Or just don't use the crap called "Bondo"
