  1. I have the Hex and the midbass is pretty weak. I am coming from the stock Bose system, but still. I am VERY unhappy with it and I am considering putting my stock back in.
  2. I think I am going to run either two 15" Audiopulse Revos or 4 12" AP Epics. What do you all think? Any other suggestions? Either will PROBABLY be run sealed off of a zx2500.1.
  3. I would say Kinetik based on specs and price.
  4. By cheap I mean one that's not that expensive, haha.
  5. I would say used Vovlo S60 T5 OR S80 T6. BOTH very safe cars and have a good amount of cargo room. Not to mention the T5 and T6 are pretty damn fast.
  6. Haha, those reactions are priceless!
  7. I'm fairly sure a nice budget system would cost A LOT less than a new Bimmer.
  8. I know quite a few people who have had nothing but trouble from Iraggi Alts. I would assume its toast.
  9. Who has experience with a cheapish AGM battery charger. I would like to purchase a cheap one could anyone point me in the right directon? Thanks.
  10. You're probably right. I would enjoy hearing one in a proper install.
  11. Yeah, I think the guy was saying that if he were to get the other 1000/1 he cold run 1 BTL.
  12. No, I heard one locally and it just sounded sloppy. I have heard great things about the RL-S, though, and I would love to try a couple of 15s.
  13. Just because he listens to mostly rap doesn't necessarily mean he needs or wants a ported box. If he is concerned with mostly output then a ported box would be optimal, but there are basslines in rap and R&B that push a sub's SQ capabilities to the limit as well.
  14. Those aren't his. My apologies. Still a nice collection, though.
  15. I own a zx2500.1 myself and it is a super nice amp. That setup should wreak havoc on your ears and your car.
  16. I personally am not a fan of RL-Ps, but to each his own. It should get pretty loud, I suppose.

If you are looking to Orion for woofers their HCCA woofers are supposed to be very nice in SQ and SPL. I haven't heard them personally, but a friend of mine, who's opinion I trust greatly, said they were top five on the list of his favorite speakers. Its mostly about the install, of course.

That would depend on how much is intends on playing the system with his car off. If his alt puts out a good amount of amps at idle then it should be fine for daily driving.
  19. My friend was considering going with 2 Mille 3800s with their mille comps and those new Hertz amps with the digital readout then he decided he wasn't going to dump 10000 into a system for his daily driver, haha.
  20. I think 3 would look good with the cross bars painted the color of your car too. EVERYONE has the standard mesh grill. I would try something different.
  21. I have a Load Boss alternator on my Denali and it has done great for me.
  22. That's awesome, denim. Congratulations. I can't even fathom getting married.
  23. Haha, you should hear the Mille subs. They are supposed to be redunkuous.
  24. Yeah, I'm not sure what you are trying to do, but BTLs are rated at 2500 RMS for a reason. Putting 1000 to a BTL would be wasting the subs capabilities. If you were to compare them to a Fi sub it would have to be the Q and I think the W7s would be better than the Q's especially considering you already have them.
