yeah I added a smaller belt. absolutely no slippage. I checked the volts at idle all the way up to 5000 rpm. ill check into the HID lights and see if that helps.. I could add a couple batteries but like I say im running out of room in the trunk as well as under the hood for the wires.. its a 02 cavalier and not alot of room to start with lol. thanks for the help though guys

ok so I installed my singer 250 alt amp and did the big 3 using knu 1/0 ofc. . the volts with nothing on stays at 14.6. I can turn it up full tilt and it ranges from 13.8 - 14.1.. So my question is why do my headlights still dim? It's not on every song either. I can play tech n9ne so dope or TI on purpose and its perfectly fine. I can play something with alot less bass like lil wayne god bless America and it looks like a light show. Am I going to have to break down and install a couple batteries or what? trying to avoid it because im running out of room. oh, im running a 12 inch zcon on a crescendo bc3500

american bass subs actually pound and arent bad subs at all.. I've had some xfls and hd's and both were impressive. for that much though I would just save up or spend a little extra and get some better ones

lol thats usually how far I get and get pissed and just slap the subs in and ride around like that for about a month before I get motivated enough to fix it.

If you haven't got subs yet why wouldn't you just get the right ohm subs so you can run it at 2 ohmBecause nowadays everybody wants to be cool with either custom subs or custom amps.lol the ol frankensubs. I fully blame PSI for this.. lets take all these parts from all these different subs and put em together and still not be as loud and pay twice the price. lmao I love it

ive had good luck with audioque/soundqubed. fosgate power series. and as of now im running a crescendo bc3500 on a single 12 zcon and im impressed with it as well..

buy one of those really small ones those big bulky ones always rattle out on me. I bought a metal pny one that never rattles out.. 128 gig and is only about a quarter inch long

lmk if he will sell individual. ill buy the jl amps and re components.. well, as long as he doesn't want retail
