  1. I am with everybody else and love the blue color as well. Paint looks great!
  2. Pro Sound Drivers? SAWEEEEEET!
  3. Looking good!
  4. Search function is a great feature!
  5. Length x width x height / 1,728 = Gross internal volume. Remember to take the wood thickness for the port (example - 3" wide should actually be 3.75" width etc.)
  6. I personally would get the RF if It fits the budget. Just a personal preference. But as Jaycee said both will get the job done. As far as audibly hearing the difference with extra the AQ will have...You won't notice!
  7. To the ear you will hear little to no difference. Unless you compete regularly I wouldn't worry to much about it.
  8. Most component sets have on the passive crossover a selectable +- range on the tweeter output. You could wire it at the -3db and see how it sounds. Focal tweets are very sharp and bright.
  9. I like the progress! Should sound great!
  10. If you have an O'Reilly's near check out the the Deka brand which is branded as an O'Reilly's Battery. http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/detail/OSSC/65EXTAGM.oap?year=1995&make=Ford&model=F-150&vi=1122286&forcedVehicle=true&pt=03321&ppt=C0005
  11. I don't remember where I read about it, but with silver tinned copper wire the signal/voltage will travel the path of least resistance (obviously). In this case the silver has a lower resistance than the copper and this signal/volts/amps will travel down the out side of the wire more so than the copper itself. Does this matter? Probably not to my ears, but to some people they can hear the difference. I remember seeing a company that had home theater cable (diy) for more than $1200.00 per foot. I realize this is way off topic, but..... This was a quick search Audioquest cable Wow! Really wouldn't know about all that. I just stick with Stinger as I can get it local and cheap!
  12. I will stick to Stinger HPM silver tinned OFC. It doesn't corrode as easy as non tinned copper, especially under the hood. Great post btw Duran! Thanks!
  13. The Access line is a great little set with great output. Sharp on the tweet though. Good mid/mid bass out of the 6.5" 2 way comp set.
  14. Thing I am doing on my midbass testing is putting my 6.5" Peerless in and mounting to the original inside baffle and letting them play full range to find all my irritating rattles, resonances and then applying dampening as I find issues. Just like on an enclosure, rigidity is the key and the stouter the panel/pod the more midbass a person will have.
  15. Made in France is one reason! They do make good mids and woofers but the tweets are awful imo. To bright for my taste.

    Welcome ....
  17. Toss it! Seriously if you want to keep it, Fi and various other sub manufactures may be able to re cone it for you.
  18. Sorry for the thread jack! iirmc Avionixx was a decent mid level amplifier company, Impious touched on this and glad to see them still around.
