Box turned out great! I like the binding posts vs the terminal cups! I used the binding posts on my last box!

I have my DCON in a 1.3ft^3 tuned to 33HZ and it sounds great! Have never tried it in a sealed enclosure yet but i'm sure it sounds just as good! Try the sealed box first, if your not happy try it in a ported enclosure. SHould be able to get 2 boxes out of 1 sheet of 3/4" mdf.

If it's a cracked PCB it will be an expensive fix! $209 is a great price but if you have an additional $65, get the Sundown SAZ-1000D in the SSA Store for $275 shipped.

Both! Both are great drivers, well built and still built in the USA. Did you compare specs 1 vs the other? I have a DD dealer here in town and i'm good friends with those guys. But for some reason I just don't like the sound of DD. Another friend of mine has 2 12" Fi SSD (i know not the same) but imo are louder, more sq and just overall a better driver imo. Go with the BL!

Junk imo! If you spend the money on that crap might as well plan on re-doing it again in 6 months. Check out the link from phi's sig! SDS is where you will get the most for your money and will learn a ton from the explanations for each product offered.

A pair of IA 187 would be nice to through in the mix. But really it is hard to choose. All are great companies with great customer service. When you do buy you're supporting SSA and the SSA Store. Choose wisely young grasshopper!

Cutout the map pocket on the door, remove the carpet as far back as you want. Cut a piece of MDF however you like it to look, cutout for speakers in MDF and door and then cover the MDF, attach back to door and your done. Oh don't forget to wire them up! No need for 2 sets of comps though imo. Can also do q-logic Q-Forms kick panels as well. Especially if don't have any glass skills.

Look into the DP series or even the DR. Wardens if your really serious.

Running that amp at .5 ohm is going to require a substantial upgrade on your electrical. Budget on woofers? Goals? total wattage running to the woofers?

Welcome .... Try building a new enclosure to maximize the woofer you already have. If you still don't like it then change it out!
