SSA DCON Series Sundown SA-12 is a great woofer with great sq and get's loud. Incriminator Audio - 187 Series Alot of choices in the SSA store .... Take a look and then look over the free enclosure plans.

If you showcase your wiring then get new. If not save the money and just buy what you need and keep the old.

If this is legit, this is good toy money and I can hide it from the wife as well.
Your not going to need anything more than 1/4" 20. Once tightened down, the subwoofer won't be going anywhere.
Budget, goals? Sundown Audio SAZ-1000D would be a grea choice right now as it's on sale in the SSA Store. What vc configuration?
Better off staying with the BTL. The Q is a sound quality driver and I think you would be disappointed. Look at building a new ported enclosure to Fi specs. The BTL is designed to be an SPL driver.
2 Sundown SA series 12"s will have twice the cone and motor! 2.5" voice coil and 600 watts rms. Great woofer, built like a tank and can get plenty loud and still sound good for a daily driver. XCON has 3" voice coil handles 1750 watts rms and is built like a tank as well. Main design for the XCON is sound quality that can handle a lot of power. What kind of power are you running?
