  1. I've seen some other box builders do the same thing. Why did you leave a gap and not put the part all the way to the end ? Is it stronger that way? Makes laying the carpet 1209837129083219083120983 times easier....
  2. What no kerfs on the crate? Looks like it's ready for the long flight to Africa. Looking forward to the install pics.
  3. Is your power wire still connected to the battery? If so disconnect that, also tape the remote wire as that will have current going to it when the radio is on.
  4. ^^
  5. Thumpper from Pound That Sound has done 4 ported. Check out his forum on here! He may be able to tell you what to expect from a sealed alignment.
  6. Should be no audible difference imo! Go for it!

  12. Are you wanting built in crossover, eq & time alignment processing? Best bet would be to narrow down what you need and like and search.
  13. I cannot give my opinion on either 3 sets. Since I have no exprience with them. Dynaudio has always been on my wishlist. Seas/Lotus look to be of very good quality and CDT all I have heard was the "Classic Series" and they are so, so imo.
  14. A Sparkomatic 2 shaft am/fm cassette player with no auto reverse and a pair of dual cone 4" speakers. Came with the radio as a kit for Christmas from my folks. Added a Pyramid eq-booster and a pair of Pioneer 6x9 2-ways later.
  15. It's totally up to you to want to quit and get the help needed to quit! People will help if you're willing to help yourself! It all starts with you! Good Luck ....
  16. Heard of them and considered them at one point and time, but budget constraints prevented me from buying them. Price is high imo and whether they are made in China ... . Really shouldn't matter where they are made as long as they are quality. Could you give us some background on what it is you're looking for? Budget, HU, processing, amps, active, passive.
  17. Hope the little one is feeling better! I hate seeing my kids sick!
  18. Keep your head held high and keep up with that great personality and compassion you have! Friends come and go and only true friends will have your back and never ask for anything in return. You're at a point in your life where it feels like you're stuck or at a dead end and no getting out. Been there and done that! Just roll with it and be patient. As said above were all here to help and just listen. Good luck ....
  19. Just wasn't sure... What size can fit in the door? Look at the MLI65 from Mach 5 Audio .... MLI-65 [MLI-65] - $27.00 : Mach 5 Audio Check out Madisound for tweeters .... http://www.madisound.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=45_245_313&products_id=1466 LPG 25NFA 1" Textile Dome neodymium magnet Tweeter from Madisound Vifa D26NC05 1" Textile Dome Autosound Tweeter from Madisound
  20. As KU40 said a jumper wire and then you could add a switch on the jumper wire to switch on and off.
  21. Doh... I re-read the question! Yes it will give you the true area the speaker will be in. Too damn early in the morning!
  22. Are you looking at amplifying the mids and tweets with a seperate amp? If so you may wanna look at going active. A passive comp set will only require 1 amp!
