That would make for a nice setup! They are built like tanks and are very underrated. Look at tuning around 28-30hz!

Do you not know how to calculate box volume? WxHxD/1,728 = Internal voume You will have to subtract wood thickness, woofer, & port displacement and any internal bracing.

1,000 Watts yes but 2,000 watts no not advised. The red top is a meant to be a replacement starting battery. Look into doing the "Big 3", replacing the factory alt with a 200 amp minimum and at least 1-2 group 31 batts in the back.

I feel the loss as well, as I was hoping to get a pair of the MLI-65 for an upcoming project.

If your looking at a daily type system and don't want to spend a lot on electrical upgrades the SSD is a great buy! A very underrated subwoofer imo.

I have a pair of LI's powered by an SAZ-1500D on stock electrical. They take the amp like a champ. But an extra battery would not be a bad idea. Definitely do the Big 3.
