  1. SAZ series is the Competition line for Sundown. SAZ offers an operating voltage of 10-16 volts, strapping capability, 24db per octave crossover, variable phase shift. SAE line is the entry level line. Operating voltage of 12-14.4 volts, 12db per octave crossover. Switchable phase shift. Both will power your woofer setup just fine.

Definitely do yourself a favor and upgrade that 12 gauge to at least 4 gauge minimum.
  3. Out of the 3 amps listed I know the Sundown the best. Not taking away anything from the other 2. Take a look at the crossover and ssf filter on the Sundown. The Sundown has more flexiability, subsonic filter is variable, choice of either 12db or 24db octave slopes on the crossover frequency and a x10 selectable range switch. Also independent crossovers for channels 1-2 and 3-4 for running active if you chose to. The 100.4 is more like 125 watts x4 if not a little more. And if your worried about resale.....Sundown has a great rep online!
  4. Welcome .... Congrats on the purchase!
  5. I would double check the deck and make sure your RCA's are hooked up correctly. Make sure they are hooked up to the "Sub Out" or at least to the front or rear outputs. Double check your power and remote voltage when the head unit is on and when you turn up the volume, to make sure you don't have a voltage drop issue. Make sure your RCA's are not pinched somewhere.
  6. I voted Sundown! I run Sundown and I rep Sundown so i'm partial! Not taking anything away from RF. I just feel you cannot get better customer service than Jacob at Sundown!
  7. Budget? Amplifier? Electrical? As mentioned above, with some more info we can help you a lot better!
  8. That is one bad ass looking subwoofer!
  9. Sundown is the way to go! Even though AQ has reputable products and good customer service. Sundown is just a better designed product!
  10. Congrats man! Now if we could clone your wife!
  11. Any 16 gauge primary or speaker wire will work! Wire is wire for that application!
  12. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all the great folks at Incriminator Audio!
  13. Did you find that cord yet?
  14. You mean per woofer right? Yes...My Bad! You are forgiven...but next time!
  15. First thing you may want to do is "Search" the foum here for recommendations. There are a lot of posts on similar content. Second is to go out to as many stores in your area to listen and let your ears make the decision for you. The 100.4 is a great amp!

  17. You will get either 1 ohm when wiring in parallel or 4 ohm when wiring in series.
  18. Looks like I will be stuck at work for at least 2 days due to this "Winter Storm". Oh well OT and Holiday pay will let me play!
  19. An old school mod, not sure how that happened though. If you look at all his posts, there are rated with a plus one so it looks like he went through ranking himself or somebody else did (but I dont see why they would do that in one day). Those rankings add and delete from your supportive score when someone clicks on a + or -. Wow! Where have I been? I didn't even know that's what the + - were for!
