How can you wire something so easy, wrong? Take the advice given and follow the wiring diagram and wire it correctly! It will be night and day difference.

Not at all. They sell great to the loud people. 170db+ The Z6 is still coming. That's the Z with the 6" coil. They have the Z3, Z4, and Z6. Coil size 3", 4", and 6" respectively. Ok sounds right, just going by what the local DD dealer said is all. DD has the niche when it comes to 170db plus systems. It probably costs more than my car... They are expensive that is all I got to say about them ...

Didn't DD scrap the whole Z lineup due to lack of sales?

From personal experience, I had a single 10" Dcon in SSA's recommended ported enclosure and it did more than "make your ears tingle just a tad". Some songs were just downright painful at the right volume. If I ever get to the point where I have more room to work with, I won't hesitate to run a multiple Dcon setup. Right now I'd love some Dcon 8's. *wink wink, demin* Do I sense some new SSA product coming?

I have heard of one complaint on that amp. It has an irritating turn on pop. Other than that it seems to be a great amp. Still hate the color of that model though

Why not try the 8" drivers in a ported application? But then again the DCON's are an amazing driver for the money! Ported, they have amazing output and still remain very musical imo.

Could also look into Eclipse 7200 MKII. Great hu with great sq and a ton of useful features for running active.

I have ran 2 Sony HU's for last 10 years and have had great luck with them. Granted I didn't spend a fortune at the time on each unit. But I bought the HU with the features I wanted. The SQ is on par with anything else in it's price range. I feel Sony is trying to get back to a quality HU.
