Sorry to see SS going away! I have heard nothing but great things about the quality and CS from SS. I was patiently waiting for an RL-P 18" for my HT setup. I think I will have to get in on the Orphan buy and go that route. Good luck in the future Mike.

I would make sure it is a true butyl adhesive and check to see how thick the foil is. Not familiar with Hushmat at all.

Explain your definition of loud and sound quality? Reason I ask is that these types of questions are very vague in explanation and get very irritating to the forum. Explain your goals in more detail, equipment you are using etc.

Black nickel will somewhat resemble chrome. Chips are not going to affect performance! Now where are the PICS?
