Are you going for all out SPL competition or mostly a daily driver with an emphasis on ear loudness and hair tricks?

Take a DMM and check the DCR of your voice coils to make sure something didn't happen to the woofers. Your electrical seems to be more than enough but doesn't hurt to double check. Take your DMM and check to see if you have voltage drop at the amp.

What kind of options are you looking for in a HU?

Basically the fuse is there to protect your amplifier. I would do some troubleshooting to make sure all your wiring is ok. Could have reached thermal limits, or even low voltage.

Try a side firing 4" aero port in a 2ft^3 enclosure tuned to 33hz will yield a port length of 13.625". Face the Sub back.

I have an older 4 channel class AB amplifier that was made by Dragster Audio Art. Amplifier goes straight into protect. I asked Chris at dB-r a couple years ago and he said more than likely it was bad output fets. Chris does not work on older amplifiers like this anymore. I am looking for some feedback on Ampmedics more than anything as we know what kinda quality Mr. Mantz is known for. Here is a couple board shots of the amplifer. It is actually a great amplifier and was solidly built in the EU (European Union).

Nightshade v.2 or ZCON would be a better choice if your wanting SPL or irritating loud.

If your wanting Sundown don't overlook the Z.v2. It's a great sub that can get very loud. Sundown or SSA your gonna have a great sub either way.

The Sundown SAX-125.2 is a great amp. No experience with new Soundstream but there are other members that run them and I have not heard anything bad about them. Audiopipe get's alot of good reviews from members who run them.

Stick with the BL, If you want more I would invest in another BL. You would be taking the loss on the trade in program imo.
