  1. Welcome ....
  2. Whoa that is a boat load of sub woofers! My pair of SA-15's came out of that supply!
  3. They are extremely busy building and do not always have time to answer emails on a daily basis. I would try to be as patient as possible, hard I know but you will be getting a great driver.
  4. As stated above your running your mids way to high, turn them down. Also you must have the x10 switch on. Play around with the crossover settings until you find your sweet spot.
  5. Now that is is sig worthy! Btw man build is turning out great. Tuned in for more pics!
  6. Very nice find! Thanks for the post and link. X2 on the "Sticky"
  7. Over the years I have always used my ears and went with that and never blew a mid, tweet or sub woofer but then again I wasn't shooting for 150 db+ either . Lately I have been using an O-Scope since I have started competing again in SPL and trying for 150+ db on music. I would love to give this thing a test up here in the vast nowhere of the upper midwest.
  8. Seems like China from what I can find in my archives... Decent guts nonetheless That's what I was thinking as well. Not sure why I think this but the caps in the power supply in Chinese made amps have that copper/gold color. Sorry for the post hijack Twist!
  9. I'm sticking with my ears, haven't failed me yet!
  10. Chinese built or Korean? It definitley has guts!
  11. Very nice! I have done my truck doors with CLD tiles and will be adding MLV and CCF soon! Keep the pics coming!
  12. Very nice! I love the creativity and craftsmanship.
  13. Budget some MLV and CCF. As stated above run the MLV on top of the CCF so the MLV is decoupled from the metal.
  14. Go with the recommended DCON ported enclosure on the tech page. I would also recommend setting your LPF at 80hz to start and tweak from there. Does your amp have a SSF filter?
  15. I prefer the look of flush mounted subs. So I would go with a double baffle. If your worried about weight you could use window style or dowel bracing inside the box to prevent panel flex.
  16. Thanks Man!
  17. Thanks guys really appreciate the kind words. I know it's been quite some time, but finally old man winter has gone away!
  18. Have seen those but never used them or know of anybody using them. For that price though I would look into a Deka Intimidator.
  19. Thanks guys! Appreciate the kind words!
  20. Finally got around to building the box for my new Sundown SA-15's First the Design The Fiberglass Plate (JL Audio ISO-Plate) Test fit before primer and paint The Port after primer Port primed and painted Box assembled and ready for black paint (Herculiner Box Liner) First coat of black Completed box just needs some touch up I didn't take very many pictures during cutting and assembly as they are pretty straight forward. I tweaked the original design a bit to give it the full recessed look. This box will house two Sundown SA-15" D4 subwoofers. Thanks to Bromo for the design Eclectic Enclosure Design
  21. Sure they can but you will be buying re-cones
