Subs wired out of phase! Double check your wiring.
Generally with the RE box calc you end up tuning higher than expected as it doesn't account for speaker displacement.

The Fi BTL would be a great choice get it loaded with the "Daily" option. Other options would be the IA - DP or Warden Series, Sundown - Zv.2 or NSv.2 and the SSA-XCON. Are you shooting for an SPL goal with this system? Remember the electrical will need to addressed as well. I'm sure you're aware of that though.
I ran my pair on a SAZ-1500D without any issues! It really comes down to who is behind the volume knob!

What is it that you are expecting for bass output? What you have should be pretty impressive unless your going for 150+db.

Subwoofer terminals and amplifier speaker terminals can accept up to 8 gauge. But 12-10 gauge will be more than adequate.
