Ethos vs Xcon? Good question.. If an Ethos sub is on par or even better then an Xcon ..then ssa may have to think about there pricing, but I don't think ssa will need to unless there is solid/true facts that proves dif. On a side note.. from what I've been told is that Ethos subs are rebaged Dc lvl 3's, but again that is what I've been told lol. Best of luck to you;) #basshead4life

..Xcon's with a vented pole I've heard don't have as much motor force as non-vented & coil gap may differ, but not sure. Also when I reconed my Xcon's about a mnth ago (build is on my facebook) I did notice some changes here & there just from the recones over time, let alone the dif in motors over time. Hopfully Mark or Aaron chimes in & gives you a better answer.

Not bad with your 1st recone:) I have reconed a few subs in my day, but never an Xcon or any ssa/fi subs. However.. I might be reconing a pair of Xcon 12's this weekend if recones finally arrive after a more than 2 month wait time:( ..ssa said the reason for the "insane" wait for my order was.. >>>build house was waiting for me to send in motors/baskets to do the recones for me:/ lol grrr! Pricing is going up about $15. The dual leads are an option though and is a $20 upgrade.for beast subs it's still a hella of a deal. I will have my pennies saved up for a pair of 15s. After seeing what senchezy has done with his explore and bigjon Lincoln and a few other guys on here DSS is going to blow up big time. And I want to be part of that but in Cali.You will not be disappointed. ..you already running these new recones:/ who me? I'm running stock Ethos sir. ..nice

Yes, get a voltage meter & sell your subs..

After waiting almost 2 months for recones that I still have not recieved; I am now ready to go with a different company. Someone please get at me with a price on a pair of ethos 12's (dual 1's). Thank you

Xcon's & all other ssa subs are great, but make sure you order an xtra recone/s just incase. The wait time for them is a little crazy..

That's Great!! I know for a fact you will be hitting a 145db+ easy:) AQ/sq is a "GREAT" company with next to ZERO wait time on subs/"recones" ect..

..don't always have to seal off the trunk to get good/great results.
