Never had experience with that specific amp, but reliability would be my main concern with that amp. But just like everything else in this world, if you take it with proper care, you shouldn't have any issues and would shoot for it.

So what are you actually asking here? This is a great detail post, but, what answers are you looking for pacifically. Are you asking if the route you took is better than others, because obviously thats an person to person question and is totally subjective to each individual based on preferences. I don't believe that you will find an scientifically proven better method of speaker placement. Its just that the common community is not used to your method which would explain the harsh comments going against your ways.

I would definately look into buy a few extra 1" fans. With it being in the trunk, there is no way to vent properly, obviously. Building another box for the amp seems like an assle, especaily once you get the other one in there.... I know a ghetto way you could do it lol, just go buy a small fan from walmart, and put it in your trunk, grab an extension cord, and a 12volt converter so that you can plug it into your lighter plug. Bam, problem fixed until you can find a more "proper" means of fixing your issue.

You noticed how somebody made a suggestion, and then you ask for a price. If you ask incomplete questions, you will get incomplete answers. You need to list several things in detail before getting any real help. -Budget -Space -Goals -Experience -Electrical Etc...
