Whats the difference between these three subs and how do they compare against each other? Which one gets the loudest, best sq, & can handle the most power? Lets say there's 2 15s in the max recommended ported box on a Sundown 1500 for comparison.

Can you make a box according to these specs? I got it from someone's past build. I want it to be center ported. And how much will it cost shipped to zip code 30047? Specs: 2 SSA Icon 15s 22"H x 42"W x 20"D, 8.889^3ft gross, 7.837^3ft net with a 20.5" x 4" x 15.4"long port Center ported *Tuned to 31hz or 32hz? Black carpet, double baffle Is this a good box or is there better specs you can get? I like the 20" depth though because I can have more trunk space in my explorer. How much also would it be if I bought the 2 icons from you as well? Thanks

Just did some research and gonna go with the 1500. P.S. Just for some people looking for info, you can have the 1500 at 1ohm on a stock alternator (even around 110a), big 3 upgrade, and all 1/0ga wire and run it all day and be fine.

I figured if I gonna spend lots of money I might as well get the best and i can get the 1200 to 2000 all for within about $100 of each other. probably gonna get the 2000 and keep the gains down. Good idea? But then I have to worry about upgrading my alt right? I have a 03 Tahoe. Decisions, decisions, decisions...

Just trying to see which one is louder. No meters, just daily play. Would it be worth buying the 1500 over the 1000 with my setup?

I have 2 SSA Icon 15s and wanted to know if I should get the 1000, 1200, or 1500. I read on here that it if I have a bigger box then I will need less power and also that the 1200 can out out as much power as the 1500 on a normal, daily, unstrapped setup. Would there be much of a audible difference if I use the 1000 rather than the 1200 or 1500? 2 SSA Icons 15s 8 cuft ported box tuned to 32hz **I know everyone will say 1500 but I m thinking about the price as well and would it be worth spending hundreds more for a little change. I was leaning towards the 1200 because of the power it can give out or the 1000 because I have a big box and need less power.

Im trying to find out which sub setup would be the loudest. All these subs have good enough sq for me. Im trying to stupid loud but only have 6cuft to work with and my amp is a sundown 1500. I dont want to use more than that in my trunk. All of the choices below are for the max recommended ported box specs. It will go in the trunk of a tahoe. The box & port will face the back. Tell me if theres anymore info you need. I want explanations also. -1 BTL15 in a 5cuft box -2 BL12 in a 5cuft box -2 SSA Icon 12 in a 5cuft box -2 Alpine Type-Rs 15 in a 6cuft box (cheapest) I also have three other choices but lower than the max ported box specs. Im sure it wont be that big of a difference in a smaller box. If it makes a big audible difference i could go to 8cuft for either of the choices below. -2 SSA Icon 15 in a 6cuft box -2 BL15 in a 6cuft box -1 BTL18 in a 6cuft box Right now i prefer the type r's out of everything. Im getting 2 Pioneer Premier TS-W3001 subs. Trying to figure out if I need to get the Dual 2 or Dual 4 version if I use a Kenwood Excelon KAC-X1R amp and want to wire it for the full 1200 watts to each sub and in series or parallel? Also same question for a Cadence ZRS-6500D to get the 1200 watts to each sub?

It would be fine if you have a suv but it depends in the car you have, the battery, and if you have the big 3 or not. What you driving and do you have any of those upgrades?

My stock electrical might cant handle that right now and plus I got the amp for only $100 new

So either I wire it at 1ohm & put a strain on my electrical & eventually blow the alternator or I put less than 700watts to it but cant ever upgrade the amp & wire it to 1ohn with a different amp??? Anyone know how much power this amp actually gives off at 1ohm & 2ohms?

Dont complain about the amp... got it for only $100 NEW Should I get the D1 or D2 sub if I want to hook up the amp at 2ohms at 900watts? I have the stock alternator thats why and i dont think the 1200 watts would be good on my system even though I know I wont get it since the amp is highly overrated. I know the best thing to do is to get a ho alternator but the money is not there & I wanna go ahead and do this setup. Also how many watts would I get if i wired it at 1ohm & at 2ohm & could i just wire it at 1ohm with my alternator & be fine??

I got the kicker zx750.1 since its underrated & i got it for under $200 but i want to get a more powerful amp for around $200. I also chose this amp because i didnt want to get a ho alternator or get another battery but i might have to do the battery. Will the icons sound the same or significantly louder if i had 750 watts to it vs 1000??

If I had a 15" Icon and a 1000 watt amp would I need to get a new battery under the hood, do the big 3 or get a new alternator in a 2004+ Explorer or a 2001+ Tahoe? What about 1500 watts?

Between these two headunits which one would you choose and why? Im trying to decide which one I should get and want to know the pros and cons of both. If you have heard both then that would be great!!!

It wont hurt anything to have it & my lights might dim. i have seen my inside lights dim before without the system. It also looks kinda cool in my trunk if someone wants to see my system.
