Tell me about it i was shocked. Needless to say ill stick with the other shop i usually use they have decent prices and don't harass me. On a side note i needed some temporary door speakers and was quoted 250 for Phoenix Gold RSD components at another bullshit shop. Yeah the bolts are for sure the best way to go ive done them but never one for each speaker terminal till now. Groceries... who needs to eat when you have bass... haha back seat gives me enough room and maybe on the girls lap if shes with me. As for the feet the are nylon bushings i had laying around from racing four wheeler i sold. They worked out pretty good and look nice. Oh and thanks for the compliments guys lets just hope it as load as it looks good.

I feel your pain... I went in a shop the other day too get 4 yards of carpet the guy asks why i need that much.. Well i have an 8cu/ft box and he proceeds to tell me that's crazy and i need to change something. I ignore the guy and pay 38bucks for carpet OUCH. The man then asks me what kinda numbers i put up i respond 148 on music (thats with my x-cons) and of course he says that's nothing i can do a 148 with a w7 10 on music. Anyways as i was walking out the door this ignorant bastard tells me to come to his next show and put my money where my mouth is. Seriously i just bought something from you and you have the balls to say shit like that. Im sorry but its people like that, that ruin audio shops.

Btl's should be here this coming week and i had a free weekend so the box and wiring got some love this weekend. Got the thing all carpeted up and painted the port silver which looks better in person. Put 8 1/4 brass bolts in the box so i can run whatever configuration i feel the need to. Gets old pulling subs to change stuff....... On top of it all 40 foot worth of 8ga was run on all of it. Now its time to smell the glue dry and wait for the btls.

My numbers for an SUV was 150.1 on a burp and 148.3 on music sealed. Its in a 6.5 cube box after displacement tuned to 30hz running on a 3000D. Taking into account cabin gain loss in a trunk id say 144-6 on a burp but thats kinda optimistic. Like the others said they aren't meant for numbers thus the reasoning i sold mine im a number chaser now. To be honest i cant give you any solid number there are way to many variables. I think its possible to get high numbers with a single x-con or two for that matter but its most likely gonna be at the sacrifice of what the x-cons were intended to do. Be loud and sound so unequivocally good doing it.

looken good hope they were up to par! sorry about the bottom of the gaskets they had alittle paint stuck to them. Glad to see they made it alright good thing i saved the boxes. I cant wait now ive been without bass for a week now and my new btls are taking awhile to be built.

Pretty good deal on those BLs but other than that i vote xcon. Driver vs. driver xcons are louder and sound better.

Well as much as it pains me to have done it the x-cons have been sold to stefanhinote. I was in the search of more SPL and i made a final decision on two 15" BTL N2s. Let me tell everyone now by no means are the x-cons quiet i recently got a 148.2 on music sealed. Thats in a box tuned to 30hz and not the optimal port area for spl. Mind you while doing this they sound simply amazing. Ill never stop supporting SSA and i can tell you guys now my next car will be another set of x-cons for everyday ground pounding. For now though i wanna compete and its time to move to something louder.

Cool deal man ive always liked RF amps out of all the big name companies. All the products ive owned from RF have always been topnotch and i still have an older punch series running my mids and highs.
