If you can swing it I would go XCON.. if you are looking for low bass. I haven't heard them yet but the DCON and ICON REALLY DROP. I think that it would be the best sub for you if that is what you are looking for. If you take out your hole seat you can slide a bigger box in.

I was talking to the Sundown Rep from Canada. It seemed like we where Getting a deal worked out then I don't know what happened. We where talking about my plans and I never heard anything back. So I started to look down other avenues. I am wanting to build a SPL system in my 1991 Full Size Ext Cab Chevy Truck. I am going to be working with Pound That Sound to accomplish my goals. So with that said I am looking for most bang for my buck. I am planing on competing as much as I possibly can this year. I am going to be going to the comps pulling big numbers (if everything works out) and representing the product that I'm am running. I am going to have my Truck stickered up and looking as good as it can. So any advice I can get will help. Thanks for the Info so far.

I talked to a Sundown rep and he said $1250usd for the SAZ3500d and there is always the issue of shipping to Canada

I am looking at get one of the new ROCKFORD FOSGATE T2500-1 bd Amps And I was wondering if anyone knew much about them yet. I did some reading up on it and it seems like a decent amp for the price. Any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks

You should get some good #'s out of that box it moves a lot of air... Like a lot of air lol

to get loud you have to find the turning of your car. When you find that you will want to tune your box a little lower. Then you should get loud

There is NO best. Intelligent hobbyists understand this. Your the "dumb" one I described above. Tight bass has NOTHING to do with sub size. So you are saying that you can get the same tight bass out of a 15 that you can out of a 10 I think not.. I know that the box has a lot to do with it..... But if you don't know how to build a box you wont get tight bass.. Dumb ass. Lets see you get tight bass out of anything else. and in tell you can prove it keep your friggin mouth shut. We ARE leading by example, you just don't get the example. If you are being stupid, we will let you know. If you are being ignorant, we will let you know. If you are being nice, we will let you know. If they have dedicated subwoofers and not just 2-way monitors, a lot of the time the tight bass you feel is from 18" drivers. And I'll put in that my ported 15" SI Mag v.2 is one of the most accurate subs I've heard. I did say that the box makes the tight bass, and if you are a mod it not a good reflection on the forum if you are ignorant. And my JBL WGTI 10's are the tighest most controlled subs on the market. Another ignorant blanket statement. The WGTI's are NOT the tightest subs on the market bar none. Not even close. 18's can be as tight as 10's. Ok what your opinion of the best subs on the market right now

I know that the box makes the woofer. But if you don't have a well designed woofer the box doesn't make nice clear crisp sound. You get what you pay for Im sure that we can all agree on that. we should just leave it at that I think . I think everyone is a little cranky today lol

I would go JBL 6 1/2 comps... I just insalled mine and they kick ass. Just make sure you are running an amp and cross over on them

when you talk to reps/ dealers like you have been your best friends for years... Or they have been you best friends for years

I asked for a deep cycle battery lol I got a few... ... You spend more time listing to music in the truck than you do you house even though you spend $3000 on your home system. ... you spend more time plugged in to the battery charger than you do driving. ... When you have figure out how many days you will have to go with out eating to buy that new amp... I'm on day 3 and have a few more days to go.

10" subs give nice tight bass. it is mostly ppl that want SQ that run 10"'s
