  1. i dont see any glue....am i missing it? looks beastly so far
  2. then i guess i should stop telling it industry secrets huh
  3. I couldnt disagree with you more. judging from the seeming high failure rate of H.O alts, i decided to stick with the factory alt in the neon. my number would probably be a little higher with a bigger alt, but not much.... and im running 7.2k so far......with no dimming, no blown amps/batts and a perfectly normal alt. and what Thor is doing in his trunk isnt a typical trunk setup ( i think we can all agree with that) most people fire subs to the back without sealing off the trunk. -Robin
  4. hmmm.....so far so good hank what happened to the astro>
  5. big time, main holdup is that i dont have any hq videos/pics
  6. to give a little history, the neon with the DP 18's was up to 152.2 @ 34 hz, and after we did some things to help out with the roof ripping, tearing and the like, the score then dropped to 151.3 @ 42 hz, and thats where it stood until the Wardens took over. Last score that i ran with the door open (bassboxing) was 152.x and that was after the roofwork was done. More info to come. -Robin
  7. I need to do a write up, and i dont have many pics, but it will all be posted soon. well i do have one pic its a phone pic
  8. shoot me a pm bro, might be able to whip something up for you
  9. interesting. Thanks for putting funds back into it
  10. if you are looking to be competitive in an extreme class, id leave those DP's alone and step it up to the warden.,...
  11. link to said gauss meter?
  12. Sounds good
  13. depends on a few things. when i installed my MLX100, i was as happy as ever, but it had a bad ground noise, and i wasnt sure why, so i never got to test myself for a noticable difference, but i did read that people gained .5 db or more which is awesome. but i have 4 amps on 2 subs, and i used to run strapped, and i noticed a huge gain in sq when i ran one amp per coil over 2 ampes strapped per sub, and the spl of the system also gained about 7 10ths......but that may be due to the gain matching of the amps, so basically i was no help at all. it really depends on what voice coil configuration you end up getting,......get the wrong one, and strapping may save you..... How many subs are you getting?
  14. 5-6 cubes id stick w 12s if i were you.
  15. wow bro thats nice
  16. didnt see the numbers part.... 152.2 @ 34 hz is my peak and bassrace 151.8 door open it was 150.9@ 23 hz and 153.6 @ 42 all on 2 20.1's per sub
  17. impressive indeed so i guess that puts those daily comments to rest....
  18. i dont like strapping amps, but in your case....since your equipment doesnt match up properly its your only choice for good power. strapped @ 4 ohms = around 3k before rise one @ 1 ohm = the same strapped @ 1 ohm (which is what id do in your position) is over6k @ 1 ohm if you have the electrical to back it, and two broken amps if you dont.
  19. Good work bro!
  20. just how dirty? i mean 3500 watts for under 500 bucks, something gota give
  21. all parallel will do that to ya edit: just realized you said .02, not 0.2 make sure the dmm is on the right setting for ohms........some have 20, 200 and 2000
  22. Bruce no words even need to be said
