  1. That is really an impossible question to answer because of all of the different variables. BUT... if set up properly under ideal conditions, I would vote for the Type R setup.
  2. Damn those OEMs. Good to see Mike still keeps CS on top of everything else. And besides, you were giving the drivers away.. think of this as a long awaited bonus.
  3. How is mounting wood to wood going to limit vibrations? I'd use some sort of rubbery substance if I couldn't (which is unlikely) build an amp rack someplace.
  4. What electrical upgrades have you done? What coil config will you be getting with the Q?

I've been around here more. Car got stolen, bought a truck etc etc.

  7. I like glocks.
  8. Staples (in-store only) has Western Digital Elements 400GB external USB2.0 hard drive for $85 - $45 easy rebate = $50. link rebate Don't say I never gave you anything.

and people wonder why they get banned from every car audio forum on the planet.
  10. I would guess that would be more than an attainable number.
  11. I would vote for the Seagate.. except its an open box. No matter who makes it, I will never get an open box Hard Drive. No matter what. I've been sending Mark links for cheap externals for a couple of months now (because he has one of mine held hostage - bastard). I'll start sending them to you too if you want.
  12. 10's aren't nearly as popular as 12's are. And besides, for most people, 15's are the new 12's.
  13. "dayum! them some phat beats yo!"
  14. Did you do any internal bracing before the resin? Like some 2x2's on the seams or anything? Also.. are you going to add some better shocks out back to carry all that extra weight? 4 batteries, two 18's and a shit ton of wood has got to be pretty heavy. Looks good nonetheless.
  15. Correct.
  16. read what I typed. You can turn the gain down.
  17. What size of wiring are you planning on running from the battery up front to the amplifier? For 1000w or so you could get away with 4awg, but if you're like the rest of us.. you'll want more eventually. So upgrade to 1/0awg now. Also, the Big 3 is the most valuable upgrade you could even think about doing. Put that before any other electrical upgrade you do. It's cheap, easy and will increase voltage flow. As people have said before me, you don't need a capacitor. I doubt you'll even need an extra battery for that little power. You could upgrade the underhood battery to something a little bigger/better, but combined with the wiring upgrades I mentioned.. that should be all you need for your current system.
  18. Crunch1 doesn't understand that you got the Dual2 ohm version. (which would be why he can only wire it to 1 or 4 ohms). You can always turn the SAZ-1500D down. No need to give the sub the full amount of power.
  19. Hey

  20. More of a warning
  21. I concur. Never let me meet her.
  22. Never been a big fan of Behringer anything. But for the price you can't really beat the watts/$ it gives you.
  23. :gayfight2:
  24. Out of all those... the kenwood is the least of the evils.
