  1. Which BL's do you have? Dual 1 or Dual 2? The speaker outputs you see on your amp are internally paralleled. It is a mono amp and the two sets of terminals are there to make your wiring job easier. Since you have two amps, you could put one amp on each sub. - If they're DVC2, you can wire each sub to one ohm and present each sub with 1500w from each amp. - If they're DVC1, you can wire each sub to two ohms and present each sub with 1000w from each amp.
  2. eh washing is over rated.
  3. You can't really define how well they do in the lanes. They might do great for some people and shitty for others. Its all install and box dependant. As far as what they compare too, not a clue on that one.

  5. Possibly a short in your speaker cables? Maybe its making like a .05 ohm load for some reason. Shorts are crazy things. I would test EVERYTHING before installing the new amp to verify functionality.
  6. I've ordered stuff from Ike before and had it go perfectly. I've also had orders go bad too. The majority of orders that people have had with them are bad.
  7. How many more specifically Jacob?
  8. Have you gotten a quote from Excessive Amperage yet?
  9. Both are true. The difference between the two depends on how you like to listen to your music. If you like to listen to the music with your car off for long periods of time, get an isolator (so you don't drain the starting battery). If you don't need that functionality, than just connect the positives together. Ground the negative to the chassis. You also should put an inline fuse within 12" of each battery to prevent shorts lighting your car on fire..
  10. What are you looking to do with the deck? If you're going to stay with the passive crossovers in your front speakers, the 880 may be overkill for your uses.
  11. why do you think ported over sealed for SQ? I'd love to hear this response too.

No its not. And while the Hifonics isn't a great amp, its most certainly better than the Boss.
  13. How about the SSA ICON? Dual 2 ohm, 900w RMS. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/shop/in...mp;productId=99

Which SSD's did you get? Dual 1 or Dual 2 ohm? Why the facination with the Boss amp? Was it because it has "3000 Watts" for $170? Don't get sucked into those lies man. That amp probably won't even put out its RMS power (which is 1700 @ 2 ohms). I would say it more than likely barely puts out 1000w @ 2ohms. There are several Kenwoods and Alpine amps from that same seller that would be much better for you.
  15. Mine fits goot. A little hot in the summer, and sticky. But it shrunk nicely.
  16. Jesus christ that thing is huge.
  17. So let me get this straight... You're looping power out of one amp into another? Go get a distro block man, thats pretty ghetto.
  18. A lot of subs look like that. Post pics of the one you have, but its gonna be pretty hard to identify without some kind of individualized marking.
  19. This is the way I feel about refurbs, others may feel differently. Obviously most amps will get tested before they leave the factory. When they come back to get refurbed they get fixed and then tested again to verify repairs. I feel anything thats gotten tested twice, is well worth the buy.

Mmmmmm I heard those amps kick ass.
  21. Oh snap. You're so fired for not posting pics though.
  22. Why would you be using a Bandpass in the first place? I'd wager its a prefab box too.
