What's the voltage on the batteries when the car is off? Disconnect them and check it out.

Any head unit that has a LPF for the sub output will be fine.

You haven't really told us anything. Is the amp shutting off? Or are the voicecoils gone on the subs. Is the amp losing signal?

There is a small difference in T/s specs, but that alone doesn't dictate that a certain woofer will play tones that a larger one won't.

You should be expecting it when they finish hand making it. Usually takes 3-5 days to make it and ship it out.

You need DVC 2 ohm subwoofers to end up at a final 2 ohm load. For electrical, you should also look into one, to two better batteries than what you have stock.

I didn't even know Focal made amps.. they look sweet though. The Audison's have proven performance, I can't comment on the FP's though.. so I'd search for some reviews with Google.

Not if you wire it at .5 ohms. You can wire it at 2 ohms and be fine. Although, that amp, even at 1 ohm is hardly a right fit for the BTL. 2 ohms will just be laughable.

The SPL12 and SPL15 are his SPL subs, the IXL is a good all around performer. Any amp that does 800-1100w at 1 or 4 ohms will be good candidate. My Arc Audio 2500CXL would match up nicely to it.
