good tunning 8" 500rms
A sealed box is what you want for SQ. Or you need to find someone to make you a transmission line.

1 Subwoofer Hot other 1 cool?
Did you check the speaker wire connections on the woofers? Its possible one coil is disconnected on one sub.

What subs?
Lofty goals for your first setup. I'd suggest something smaller first. That way you don't end up destroying a lot of expensive equipment your first go around.

Installing two amps?
Pretty simple... One input goes in, and gets split into two.

What are your guys opinions
Stay away from FatMat... If you're looking for cheaper deadener, check out RAAMAudio. But really, SecondSkin is where its at.

my xcon died :(
wow. 1) low voltage - attributed to no electrical upgrades (55ah battery? wet cell I presume, you know those kill off brain cells right?) 2) Improperly set gain - This only gets worse as your voltage dropped. 3) Improper box for your application - whatever made you think that 29hz was a good idea for you... you should look at 32hz, you obviously want loud. In summary. There's nothing wrong with your amp (unless you damaged it due to low voltage), there's nothing wrong with the XCON (except that it's blown now). The problem is you not upgrading your electrical, making an unwise enclosure decision and getting happy with your knobs and adjustments. If you still can't figure out what went wrong.. sell all of your equipment. Right now.

2 12's ,1 15's or 1 18's
With just under 7^3ft NET.. you don't have enough room for a ported 18", BARELY enough room for a ported 15", and just enough room for a optimal ported enclosure for 2 12" woofers. T4001BD would be plenty for any of the drivers you've asked about so far. Just remember it takes power to make power. So plan on at least a 220A alternator, a larger starting battery and 1-2 D3100 type batteries.

need some help??
Wired out of phase? Clipping the amps? That would explain a lot more than an improperly tuned enclosure.

Sad, but good...
lol. Check with the equipment manufacturers. There's usually nothing that says "if you install this, you lose your warranty!"

What are your guys opinions
AH has very little to do with how the battery performs.

Good smartphones and providers.
My G1 has never given me any issues. A lot of issues spawn from user error and noobs loading up a bazillion apps on the phone and killing all the memory.

Can I still get recones for the E8's?
I can recone them, just need the soft parts That appears to be the problem. Fi or Incriminator should have parts that you can use. Of course, they probably won't be E8 parts, but at least you can find something that will fit.

Read the manual, it doesn't matter how many amps you have.

Who told you this?

butyl rope
Dunno what he's talking about really. Windshield sealant usually comes in a tube. It's normally a polyurethane mixture. There are some Butyl mixtures as well, but those are more geared toward homes.

help on cap install
You mean... you couldn't go to Stinger's website, go to the product page and down load this manual? http://www.stingerelectronics.com/images/pdfs/4SPC505-5010-5050%20instructions.pdf For the price you paid for that chunk of electronics... you could have gotten 2 of any of the following XS Power batteries D375, D680, D925, D975. Not to mention, they're all so small you could have stashed them anywhere.

What are your guys opinions
GTFO You get what you pay for when it comes to batteries. Pick up that HO alt from Iraggi for sure. I prefer XS Power batteries, but if you can get the Deka's cheaper, go with those.

I need some 8" SUBWOOFER

That's what they make loctite for... superglue is very brittle in comparison.

THE BIG 3
The point is to add more current carrying capability to the system. Since the stock wires already carry a decent amount of power, why remove them when you could just add to what they can carry with some bigger wires. If you take two of the exact same cars and replace wires on one while adding wires on the other, the one with the wires added with have the greater current carrying capacity.
