		Custom Speaker Baffle Necessary/Recommended?

I have my adapters made out of HDP (high density polypropylene) that can be found here: http://www.usplastic.com/catalog/item.aspx?itemid=23869&clickid=redirect So far they have been holding up just fine.

		SAX-100.4D Crossover

It would be slightly more than half way because the range is 500-5000. Half way would put it at 2000Hz. Just curious, what mids/tweets are you running?

		2 SA-12

I have a box built by Quentin for my SA-12s and I couldn't be happier. The quality and the attention to detail that went into the box is amazing. A year and a half later the box still holds up as it did the day I got it.

		SAX-100.4D Crossover

Absolutely. I'm pleased with HAT. I went passive when I initially installed them, and yesterday I figured since I had the capabilities I might as well try active.

		SAX-100.4D Crossover

I crossed my mids and tweeters at around 3500Hz and they sound great. I gave myself multiple eargasms listening to Metallica's S&M Album. I also misinterpreted some of the range numbers and it turns out I was crossing my mid way too low thus causing the extra noise. Thanks guys.

		SAX-100.4D Crossover

The reason I selected that frequency is because the LPF/HPF on the passive crossover is set to 5700HZ. I was using it as a reference point but I will try to set it lower to see if that helps with the noise/distortion. Thanks for the input, guys.

		SAX-100.4D Crossover

I recently installed this amp with a pair of HAT Clarus 5.25 and I was wondering if the LPF on channels 3 and 4 are not functioning properly. I'm currently running active and I was attempting to bandpass my mids using the Subsonic and LPF. When I select LPF the mids produce that range I selected, however there is a buzzing sound coming from the mids and they sound slightly distorted. When I select HPF they play just fine. The Subsonic is set to 70HZ and the LPF is set to around 5500HZ. Thank you

LI-12 or SA-12? which one better for me?

I can't speak for the LI series but I do like my SA-12s. They get really loud and they sound nice.

Where can I get some SA-12s???

I've ran both. I run my SA-12s off a SAZ2000D and they love it. I did run my Type Rs off a JL 500/1 and they got pretty loud. In my opinion, the SA-12s are louder and they sound way better. Don't get me wrong though, the Type Rs are really nice subs. I believe they are a fair comparison but In my situation I'm running way more power.

		2 SA 12's

My SA-12s love my SAZ-2000D. Just be careful on the volume and set your gains properly and you'll be alright.

		Pogo's Sorento Install Pics

If I recall correctly, it manages to stay in the low 13s playing a 50hz tone with 5 second intervals on repeat for 30 seconds on 3/4 volume. On music, I don't experience anything below 13.5 on full tilt, but then again I don't play it loud for a very long time. There wasn't much of an audible difference in the way the subs and port were facing, however the wife likes it because it saves truck space.

		Pogo's Sorento Install Pics

The vehicle is a 2008 Kia Sorento LX The enclosure was build by Audible Customs. It's tuned to 32Hz The Subs are SA-12s The wiring is all Knu Kolossus Fleks. NOTE: This is a comparison pic from the 4 gauge I used in my last build. The amp is a SAZ-2000D purchased from the presale. The battery is a Batcap 2000. The box installed... I'm using an Eclipse headunit with nav and ipod. And lastly my bass remote.

looking for 2 12" subs to be ran off a saz 2000

I currently run a pair of SA-12s off a SAZ-2000 and I'm happy with it. Try to tune low and be careful on volume. I think you will be completely happy in the end.

		General Questions

I don't know much about running strapped amps at 1 ohm, however I think you'd be happy with the amps strapped and running 2 BTLs D2 for 2 Ohm. The BTLs are rated for 2000 but there's people that run way more than this in the right box. Once again, I think you'd be happy with 2200 going to each sub.
