never messed with the Red Tops, I have only used the Yellow Tops. They are nice. Had a belt come off on the way to a show, turned around and drove to GF house 20 min away, with radio playing low, then from her house to mine, then from mine to the shop. All on battery. Never dropped below 12.2~12.3

Had 2 08 L7 15"s in a 12^3 box tuned to 40Hz. Had a Memphis 16PRD-1000.1 at .5 ohm daily. The NS 15"s on 3k daily should do better.....

I must say though..... a Team mate of mine runs 6 RD HW 15"s in a 2001 Ext. Ram on 3 RD 9.0's......... His truck isn't doing to bad though..... How does the 40 series sound? I have no muffler as of now..... doesn't sound to bad.

I have had 2 15"s in a 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 ext cab, same truck just a year newer with the 5.2. They didn't sound bad, I just needed more power! I will probably do the 15"s, everyone is saying 15"s........ even my dad and GF. Both dashes I have had were HORRIBLE......

I have heard 150dB in the frequencies of a front stage...although it was through a thick ass concrete wall and it still hurt. You do realize that the aerospace world tests fuselage and other plane parts for ACOUSTIC FATIGUE at levels below 170dB. At this level metal can break and wear out rather quickly so you can extrapolate what it will do to your ears. Oh my.......
