nett volume of the sealed box ?is there wool in it ? are there bracings in the box ?what kind of amplifier (brand model)

you sure you've got enough space in your trunk to fit a decent enclosure in your trunk ? big three is ALWAYS a good thing ,regardless of setup ....

the given options would also do well in the right enclosure , I've done 12inch chaos for home use in 1,7cuft tuned to 25hz ... sounds excellent

when did I mention mounting inside the box ? I mentioned above , but as I understand it , sub and port fire towards the front .......

sacrifice looking through the rear window ,board of mdf , mount vertically there... no rear viewmirror (another problem solved)

I dont think its strange , I clamped my 5K amp to aprox 2.8K at 2.15 ohms @ full tilt and 6.2K at 1.07ohm after rise on burps , so at 1ohm I got 600watts more than double the power ... less efficient that may be . so if your amp is somewhat similar you could've lost more than 1Kw going from 2 to 4 amps ... I say recone them +I bet there is still some left in that box of yours

box is on the small side and there is a good size port not tuned real low so that doesnt help alot .there shouldnt be much rise

not familiar with impedance rise ?

0.25 on music ? think you'd better get 4 more amps (or 8 3.5ks) or change coil config , I'd be scared to run that low impedance good luck , I'd be really cool if the amps hold up .!
