  1. If you're going for best SQ, then you need a philips gogear MP3, or a Sony MP3 player. They have much better SQ then a ipod. Or a creative x-fi, has good SQ and wifi and enough GB
  2. Go photobucket.com, make an account, upload pictures to you're account, and place the link in you're post.
  3. Where is the build log or a picture from the enclosure?
  4. Try doing 2 cu ft per sub, and around 26sq. inches of port per sub. So you would need 12cu ft, and 156sq. inch of port area.(keep port are around 12-16sq inches per cu ft.) Tune the port at 35hz, with 156 or 160sq.inch of port area. Cause now it seems to be a small airspace for the sub, and nowhere near enough port area.
  5. Full gain?, you need to set the gain properly using a o-scope or a dmm, or by ear. If you put it at full gain and don't hear distortion, then something is wrong, with you're ears, or with you're HU.
  6. dunno what ya'll talkin about batteries producin power, they store it. The more Ah a battery has, the more power it can store. A cap also store power, but only for a real short period. You should better get a battery or a High Output alternator, instead of a cap. A cap is only usefull when you have 0 voltage drop. Only alts produce power, batteries store it for a long time, store way more power then a cap.
  7. you could look if the port or another panel is loose, that could cause the noise.
  8. You should set you're subsonic, about 10 hertz below tuning frequency. I wouldn't put it lower then 24 hertz.
  9. Less excusion near port freq., more excursion a bit above (around 36-40hz )or below tuning.(20hz)
  10. you could make a bandpass box, or a T-line box. And coate(?) the outside of the box with some resin and or fiberglass.
  11. x2 x3 good amp that puts out more then rated power with a nice electrical.
  12. Those pioneers play low all day and really dont pick the highs up tp well, so tuning at the point is worthless period. I have had experience with these pioneers and they dig the lows like 15"s and 18"s. My box now is tuned to 30Hz, digs deep and gets loud; if I were you I would tune between 28-30Hz. Trust me you will love it. If you're box is tuned at 30 hz it won't pick up the higher notes as good as a box which is tuned to 45 hz. Most people tune the box to around 30-38hz. A box tuned to 33-34 hz will pick up the lows in almost every song.
  13. 3 x 30amps= 90amps 90 x 12 = 1080W So that is the max power that the amp can put out. It will be probably below 1000W around 900W RMS or lower.
  14. Yes, you can see in the pic that there are 2 cables in one.
  15. look at the website. Uses * trunk lid * doors * speaker baffles * trunk spoiler * seal around grommets
  16. Yea, i have one opinion, where are the pictures?
  17. Yea. Pioneer only makes 10s & 12s Wrong look at the pioneer TS-SW841D it's a 8 inch sub, and the TS-W8102SPL an 15 inch sub.
  18. thanks for the info actually this was all i needed.
  19. A Sinuslive SLa 3000, it has 2662 Watts RMS at 1 ohm.
  20. Could somebody help me to design an enclosure for the Fi BL 18 inch. I'm not good with the programs. I would like to let the box tuned to around 32 - 30 hertz. I'm gonna power it with around 1800W RMS. If somebody tell me the volume of the box and the port lenght and also the port area.
