There are plenty of threads referring to clamp test being useless, search the forum.

clamp tests are useless and don't tell you jack shit. Why not have those tools in the shop for everyone's use, makes no sense not to have those tools accessible to the employees that work their?

If you have room on the side of your enclosure for amps, then that would be ideal. Most people try to make the amp rack stackable so it wont take up much room. Really it all depends on the amount of amps being used, box placement, space available etc.

x2, I love how my sealed enclosure sounds but I miss the output of my ported enclosure. Its gonna come down to personal preference really.

Choking an 18" in a trunk just to say you have an 18" subwoofer is not the way to go, look at 2-12"s or a single 15" sub. You need to accomodate for airflow into the cabin unless the trunk is sealed of from the cabin. Also your amps and battery may need some room depending on electrical.
