  1. Wont notice a difference power wise, will come down to personal preference and price really.
  2. Did you ever notice this sound with the Icon? Do you have another sub to try out on both amps? Also try turning down your lpf, 80hz on a 12db will not stop frequencies above 80hz from getting to your sub, it only attenuates them.
  3. The tweeter is only rated at 80 watts and wont even need that much power really.
  4. Its funny how most car audio problems are simple things that are overlooked, glad everythong is working now. Box looks good, how does it perform?
  5. x2 unless your doing a boat load of mids per door, one pair of tweeters will be enough.
  6. I always wanted to do a nice big saltwater setup, looking good man.
  7. Not too shabby, congrats on that 150
  8. Sounds like a head unit issue to me since it worked fine with another source.
  9. Will it be the same size or smaller? Hopefully a little smaller.
  10. Nice scores, Xcons hanging in there with Nightshades I see.
  11. I haz no sand on my clam? Im mad you have a clam but he wasnt referring to you with that comment.
  12. Not downing your choice the Arc KS 900.6 is a bad ass amp, just curious why you didnt go the Zed Route. Im in the amp market myself, still deciding on 4 channel or 6 channel.
  13. This seems to be the issue. I believe this hit it right on the nose and I thank you for your input. I would also like to thank everyone who actually gave me suggestions on how to approach this problem. Today, I placed my subwoofer inside another enclosure that belongs to a local member, swift. And all seems fine, the subwoofer showed no signs of stress and sounded great. So the conclusion to this is that, in MY application, I could NOT use a larger enclosure. Swift will begin building my next enclosure soon. Good find, I learned something new today myself about enclosures. Glad you got it worked out.
  14. Haha what a joke this kid is, went from a bad enclosure to this guy making personal attacks against SSA. whoa
  15. Im looking at getting an 04-07 Impala myself, hopefully an SS. Love those cars and like stated above easy to work on and parts readily available.
  16. If the enclosure is constructed well and meets the driver's specifications I see nothing wrong with it. didnt know i needed to add a smiley face for my sarcasm
  17. A pre-fab box is a no no
  18. Im excited, im still waiting on details on how the new amps are gonna look.
  19. not really, some people need to compensate for something.
  20. I heard the Crescendo mids are not as impressive as a lot of people hoped they would be, they are getting a couple things changed on them with the new batch coming out. Navid is always improving things
  21. Yeah I would wear it or otherwise I would of kept my million dollars I hated having a $400 dollar amp just sitting around my house, Id rather have it installed then sitting around for anything to happen to it. Just my .02
  22. So he could run a sealed box instead of a ported box
  23. Bad ass amp bro
