  1. Purple bed sheet FTW A little mess I made
  2. Woke up this morning and decided to do some work, weatherman said the high will be in the low 70's with a cold front approaching tomorrow. Today would be the best day to play with some great stuff foam so I purchased two cans, the first can was used on the trunk hood: Right after spraying foam: Stay tuned for more...
  3. Started to cover the rear vent today, got half of the job done since football interrupted my plans. I started with duct tape to cover the hole, ended up doing 4 layers of tape. Next step will be great stuff foam here and other places in the trunk area.
  4. Nice enslosure and headunit bro, now hurry up and finish
  5. They gave me the IV and asked me to count back from 100...the stuff hit me so fast they could have said "count back from 5" and I wouldn't have made it to zero. Yeah the last number I remember saying was 98 and then I was out cold till I woke up later on.
  6. Yeah that first weak is gonna be hell, really depends on your pain threshold but with medicine and sleep you will be fine.
  7. x2, I recommend you gargle with water and table salt every chance you get (waking up, eating, just cause). It will help your mouth heal.
  8. Thanks a lot guys, I really appreciate it
  9. Happy Birthday
  10. You read my mind, today I worked on turning my box around so it is firing forward, just gotta find some material to seal it off with. Considering how tall it is, I only have to worry about the sides since the top baffle is slammed against the rear deck. I also made a new ground spot which helped my voltage by some tenths. I still plan on sealing that hole up, just not in a rush now.
  11. Sounds good, hopefully with all this construction going on around my city I can find a scrap piece of steel laying around but yeah I will check into that.
  12. Naw didnt want to really waste any time or money and really havent had any time to do anything to it once I removed the vent, I just had to get rid of that noise. I emailed Rudy (Don) to get his take on this issue, im looking for the most effective methods whether they are cheap or expensive. If I can find a piece of metal then I can have a friend who welds do some work in my trunk.
  13. I know I have been slacking on the audio side of things but it will be getting more updates soon. It doesnt have to be cosmetic appealing as it will be covered up eventually in due time and if not im wont be worried since it wont be scene really. Im looking for something to help with my drivers side of the car doing the wave, considering this vent is on the passenger side of the car. It seems as though I am loosing a lot of pressure from this vent hole.
  14. Wow cant believe its been this long since an update, I actually started doing some work to the car finally. I had a horrible noise coming from my trunk and I thought I somehow damaged my sub, turns out it was just the rubber flaps slapping the plastic vent. I removed the flaps and vent and now I have this hole that I want to cover up. I know most people use deadener or foam, are there any more ideas you guys can come up with. I also removed all the carpet from my trunk area besides the trunk floor until I can make a permanent trunk floor covering out of wood.
  15. properly sealing that hole? I know that's why I didn't do it... If you can properly seal a box up when building then I'm sure you should be able to properly seal a hole with wire running through it.
  16. I like those Zed amps (nice collection), looking real nice so far.
  17. I never had a problem doing it, do it right and use quality amplifiers then there should be no problem.
  18. Im tuned in for this one
  19. Id have to see it to believe it
  20. Even with frame grounds I have heard where it helped to do a negative run from front battery to the rear battery. If you have the wire then go for it but if not then no big deal, you can never have to any grounds.
  21. Haha same thing I was thinking, I doubt the glass itself will even crack or break.
  22. Yeah I heard good things about those 4 channel nendo amps but suppposedly the new one's will be better. What made you decide to get add the seleniums, did they make a difference in sound compared to the O2 audio mids.
  23. Where do you have your mids crossed at and how are your speakers performing off the nendo amp? I'm thinking of putting my sundown neo 8"s in the house and using some of these O2 speakers in the car. I recommended them to hove but never heard them myself.
  24. All sundown speakers and subs come with the Sundown Audio logo, especially the Neo-Pros'. Go through the prototpe thread where Impious explained the difference in having an 8ohm vs 4ohm coil.
  25. good posting
