  1. Front stage amplifier is mounted and rca's ran to the DSP.
  2. Got her tinted this morning with 5% ceramic tint all the way around. Mounting temporary front stage amp, since my backseat is 22 inches long I'm going re look at amps and see what I want over the Crossfire 4 channel I been over lately.
  3. Speaker wire is ran on both sides of vehicle as well as the 2/0 welding power cable run. I just need to find grommet with some room or drill my own whole out
  4. Speaker wire being ran on the passenger side, 16 gauge for horns and 14 gauge for mids. All Knuconceptz OFC wiring.
  5. Power wire being ran on the driver side, 2/0 welding cable.
  6. Sound deadening is complete and the trunk is all buttoned up. Thanks to @Second Skin
  7. I'm 80% done with the sound deadner, the trunk deck is next. I didn't do the under side yet because I don't feel like uninstalling the factory subwoofer till it blows or until my new Fi sub gets here. Doors will be next.
  8. I'm finished for the day. Just need to get the spare tire area finished and she will be done.
  9. Thanks Nem glad to see you man. What have you been tinkering with lately?
  10. Wiring process has begun, DSP is mounted and backseats are out.
  11. I will probably take this car to the shop to get some work done if I don't feel comfortable attempting it on my own. But I will try and get my hands dirty first before I go that route. I also need to find how to hook my AudioControl DSP to the factory setup. Stay tuned fellas.
  12. Some of the equipment from the previous build and wires since I always buy extra to have. Enclosure should be done either this week or next week and Im still waiting on the sub but no biggie until I get the trunk deadened.
  13. So far this is what the system will consist of, mids may change if I can't get the 8s to fit but we will see. I will use 2/0 welding cable for all main power/ ground runs, Knuconceptz wire for amps' power/ground wires and their speaker wire too. Second skin deadener for trunk and speaker tweeker pads in all 4 doors. I have some Soundskin speaker rings that I'll be using for my mids. 14. Deadener should be here Friday. I doubt I'll get any work done since there is a car show in town this weekend but I want to do something. I will mount DSP and try to get the ground side of the Big 3 done sometime this week.
  15. Thanks fellas. If I did do another build log it would be pretty fast as I already have all the equipment so I may still post one here as well.
  16. What DSP? 9 times out of 10 it's the DSP. They are install and vehicle dependant.. just because it's the DSP doesn't mean the DSP is bad just a bad choice for your car or setup. Ive had the same problem with 3 different Dayton DSPs to turn around and have no issues with my Audio Control 6to8.
  17. Build log is officially done, car has been deemed a total loss after a truck with a trailer swerved right in my lane. Sucks but I guess on to another car with another build, since it's so quiet here I may not even post on the forum. But who knows, everything is out of my Sonata besides the NorthStar under hood battery, Pioneer double din and main power wire run. I will get those out tomorrow. The crazy part about all this is, I just got back from being in Cali for a week, accident happened in less than two hours after getting off my plane.
  18. Nope nothing shady, just seems as they are going out of business at the moment. Don't know all the details just something that I read on FB.
