I like DC Audio amps and wouldnt mind getting one along with Everest Sound Labs (they seem to be getting a lot of buzz lately). Im not to fond of Crescendo Audio and there customer service so I wont be using them again, I have nothing against there amps. I could care less about spending money or saving money, I buy what fits my needs (space, power, reliability, features and the companys' customer service). You cant talk about Sundowns prices, like Jacob stated plenty of times his company is not an internet based brand that sells directly to the customer. If he wanted to he could and his products would be a lot cheaper to fit some poeples needs or wallets. Not justifying his prices or his company just stating facts on why it is what it is. Dealer based companies will always have higher prices then internet based companies, no matter how much the products compare to one another. The one thing I do respect about Sundown is he was having great success with Zenon boards and then started seeing companies imitate for a cheaper price, and what does Jacob do about it. He just re-tools his amp to differentiate them, while other companies are sticking with the previous boards (where's the innovation?). Honestly who cares what the next person will run in there vehicle, I didnt know now days that I had to justify my product purchases with the next man.

You would not be able to wire down to .66 you're options are 1.34, 3 or a 12 ohm load. Whomever told you you would reach .66 was wrong. I was only able to get down to .66 with dual 2's and 6 of them. Thats why he said he has (3) dual 4 ohm drivers and not (3) dual 2 ohm drivers, with (3) dual 4 ohm drivers 0.66 ohm load is possible along with a 2.67 ohm load.

Are you running it bridged, if so how do the speakers output compare to it being unbridged?

Hook an Ipod or Mp3 player up directly to your highs amp while the car is on and see if it still makes the same noise, if it doesnt then it could be your radio. Was this noise there when you first hooked up the Rockford Fosgate amp?

I wouldnt be quick to blame it on a bad production run, conisdering i havent seen any recalls or post about it on this site. Im willing to bet even if it was a bad production run the way your running your drivers now, you just helped induced the problem faster. Seal that door up if your gonna mount them to the door panel but I would be quick to say manufacturing defect as well but what do I know about damaging speakers being mounted just to the door panel.

9 times out of 10 if you mount another 6.5" driver to your door panel like that and play it under the same conditions you will repeat this process again a few months down the road.

Kinda curious why you just didnt run your AQ amp bridged if you wanted more power for your front stage instead of buying another amp.

Naive thinking like that is what gets people jacked, you never let your guard down for those type of things even if you feel you live in the 10 safest spots in America (Ive seen and heard people getting jacked and only leaving there car for 30 minutes or less). Not wishing anything upon you just saying you can never be too careful. But like I said to each is own, I had stickers before and took them off for two reasons. I didnt want to be a driving advertisement, plus it makes the car look tacky (my car looks better without them then with them). Thats my .02 but if you want one a sticker on your window then it your decision since its your car. Go for it and take pictures.

You are not getting a spl sub and trying to be all out loud so why are you worried about tearing things up in your car, your making this more difficult then it should be honestly. If you face the sub and port up facing the trunk lid then yes it may have potential to rattle the trunk lid but will it rip it apart, no.

Too much what? Flip a coin if you dont know which one to go with, either decide if you want a 12" or 15" it shouldnt be that hard of a decision. The 15" will have more output that a 12" sub of the same model due to the 15" having more cone area.

Amps were $300 when they first came out but Navid raised the price on the amps after the first production/pre-sale run.
