  1. They looking good man, are these gonna be your new sub line or just some drivers you came across?
  2. I got my foam tape from Pep Boys, will use on my next build.
  3. Get what headunit has the features you need and is within your budget since you will be the one using it everyday. What do you mean one for comps, ,most headunits should be able to work with competitions as long as they fit your goals and application.
  4. Good post, thats what happens when people have one side of the story. Keep doing what your doing, stuff happens and thats life, people just gotta understand that.
  5. I need a belt, cant wait till they go up on the site.
  6. x2, one day hopefully I can bring popcorn and a movie
  7. If the enclosure is not in the picture yet then picking an amplifier shouldnt be in the picture as well. You shouldnt pick an amplifier until you make an enclosure unless you design your enclosure around the amount of power you want to use.
  8. That really wont matter as you can adjust them to fit wires with more strands, I just use needle nose pliers to open up where the wire is inserted.
  9. Looks good man, definitely gave me some ideas when I get around to my home audio setup.
  10. When you have a that many batteries draining, you will need more than an alternator to keep them charged without straining your alternator over time and maybe even killing it. Alternators arent made to charge a lot of batteries.
  11. Thats a personal preference, consider you gave us no information really nobody knows what will be better for you. Read around and give us more info, these arent the only subs out there unless you have your eyes set on these. If that is the case then wait for the SA's in my opinion.
  12. Ground the amps to the battery, thats what I do in all my builds
  13. No such thing as underpowering a subwoofer, if your not going to be in competitions then that extra 600 watts per speaker wont be heard but probably seen on a meter. You answered your own question, if you want to run it at 4 ohms and make your electrical easier then why not just run the Zapco. If your really worried about sq you would worry about your subs last and not even worried about how much power you give your subs. The box will be the best overall factor in how much power you can give a subwoofer, if you want to give them 1100 watts then build a box around that power level.
  14. Fresh box man honestly, keep up the pictures and good work.
  15. Appreciate it everybody
  16. was out of production for a minute, it was just released within the last few months. IA doesnt update there website too much.
  17. For your goals and application, both.
