Question About Running A Bigger Amp And Another Battery
Here is a write up on the Big 3 to get you started and the only way to tell if your car will handle it will be to install the equipment and go from there. Make sure you do the Big 3 in 1/0 AWG wire, get a secondary battery and a volt meter so you can keep an eye on your voltage. If your voltage holds up well then your current alternator will suffice and if not then get ready to look into an H/O Alternator. Big 3 Wiring: 1. Engine Block/Bolt on Alternator Case to car's frame (Ground Wire). 2. Battery Negative Post to the car's frame (Ground Wire). 3. Battery Positive Post to the Alternator Positive Terminal (Positive Wire). http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/Technical-Reference-Center-f57/Technical-Info-How-Tos-f60/THE-BIG-3-t200.html

Componet Advice and Recommendation
Instead of running the speakers seperate from the tweeter and using a passive crossover to control them you can put the tweeter in the middle of the driver and run them together. Look the pictures on the site and see how one has the gold plug in the middle then another picture the tweeter is in the middle of the speaker instead.

Clean power yes they will, but you can always turn the gain down on the channels controlling the 5.25" components on your amp. You can also call(number on website) Navid at Crescendo or email him at [email protected] and ask him personally about that. There are other brands out there as well just sharing with you what I have experience and like that are in you budget.- Componet Advice and Recommendation
Check out these components, currently I have the 6.5" and they are great for the price. They even have both sizes you need in case you wanted to use the same brand up front and in the back. Usually they recommend 3-5ft^3 after sub, port and bracing displacement. 4-5ft^3 or how much room you have available.- Problem getting the sub/amp to work
No actually he is running 2 D4 subs, each wired to 2 ohms going into its own channel.- Problem getting the sub/amp to work
Everything seems fine with the wiring, how is it grounded? How did you set your gains, are you using bass boost? Is the amp well ventilated, is it getting too hot? Make sure you have D4 coils and they are wired to two ohms just to be safe. Any electrical upgrades? Just a few questions to get you started?- Sundown SA-15 Pre-Order
Whats the mounting depth, displacement, outside diameter and cutout diameter? Thanks- Sundown SA-15 Pre-Order
Whats the lowest you recommend tuning these subs?- hey fellow bass enthusiasts

Sounds good to me, you know what fits so go for what you know. Two sets of components will be nice- Loss of output
Alright..thanks. And which grounds are you talking about? are there other important ones besides the battery ground, and the amp ground? Would it be okay to run 0 gauge for the amp ground if im only running 4 gauge power wire? It wouldnt hurt the amp to run a bigger gauge wire for the ground but I would just upgrade both wires to 1/0 awg and be done with it, that way if you upgrade amps in the future your wiring will be taken care of.- 3 SA-8's Box Design Help
It depends if it is for daily, competing or purely spl. I know Jacob recommends 30Hz for the 12"s but you dont have to use that tuning. If for daily then 33hz will be fine.- 3 SA-8's Box Design Help
Is that the best approach? A single chamber box rather than splitting them into their own chambers. It doesnt make a difference really, the only downfall of using a single chamber is that if a driver fails you wont be able to play them other two until you get it fixed.- 6.5" comp recommendations ...
No the tweets on the coaxials wont be an issue, I wouldnt buy from that site because they dont seem to be a dealer plus you gotta pay for shipping so you will still be in the some ballpark in price as woofersetc.com. I would pay the extra few dollars and buy from woofersetc.com but that is just me.- hey nick
Do some research on them and that will help you make a nice decision on there products but yeah they are good products to use if you want bass.- 3 SA-8's Box Design Help
Im pretty sure that is the volume for the three drivers together in a single chamber instead of individually.- Noob from Cali ...

+1 to that. After trying to separate two glued pieces of plywood I won't put any screws on my box. It just looks better without any screws and holes... Not the mention the time and money you spend on it. If glued properly it is so strong that the wood will break before the bond itself. But if you don't have big enough clamps or hurry to finish the whole box, you can go with screws too. Definitely at your avatar. - Componet Advice and Recommendation
