  1. Send it in to db-r.com if you want to get it fixed like new.
  2. You just dont get out answers, your still asking the same questions to get the same answers from us. Nobody is judging anything, regardless what someone will tell you is irrelevant. There is one user who used a Sundown SAZ-3000D on his, there are probably others who went with less power and got better numbers then you or went with more power and eventually killed the sub. Basically it is useful information thats all, but hey good luck on what information your looking for out of this thread.

Well since you know everything then why are you asking us questions? Give us more information then what you are, telling me a box is customed tuned for the sub is nothing helpful at all.

If the amp was maxed out then you would be clipping your sub What makes you think it can take or physically handle more power? Your on the verge of having to get a recone real soon. Learn how to set your amp before worrying about how much power it can take. What size box is your speaker in?
  5. Obviously you dont understand because you keep asking the same question and people have given you the answer for three pages so far. It wont matter to you at all, it is to many factors to equate to worry about what someone ran on there subs. It will come down to goals, box size, listening habits (everybody's is different), electrical you have and so on. The way to tell what your subs can handle is to test them and let us know how they react on the Crescendo and if you want to know if they can handle more power in your application then go buy a bigger amp (which is not recommended). If your looking for more output then maybe you need to step up in woofer class as well and get you some BTL's.

No since you have this question. The real question is why do you want to damage your sub, go get a BTL if you want to use that much power.
  7. Sundown SAZ amps work well at 0.5 ohms, just make sure your electrical is up to par and you will be fine.
  8. The picture looks good, I like the concept (the sub just looks unreal with the extra bottom piece).
  9. Try Google, they are out there and on the site.
  10. I wish I could help you man but I cant so ill help to get this thread answered.
  11. Since they have dual power and ground terminals on the amp then I would say yes use both of them.
  12. Nothing Major just a picture or two of the dual amp setup for the mids and highs, ignore the blue speaker wire thats is hanging just doing some test with some speakers in the rear deck.:
  13. I definitely wouldnt put 24"s on it but to each its own, the one with the Blades does look better than the one with the 84"s on it.
  14. Keep us posted on the email response, I know you asked some good questions.
  15. I run PA speakers
  16. That was a general statement not directed at Sundown Reps
  17. What size sub and any other information you can give us to help you out. Check out the SSA Xcons as well, do you have a budget?

    Congrats
  19. You and me both since the price tag wont hurt to buy a pair to test out and make use of them if I dont need them. After all my searching for 6.5" midbass/midrange speakers the highest efficiency I seen on them were 91.5db (1w/1m) but they couldnt dig this low.
  20. Clarion FTW, I have a simple head unit from them I just ordered recently and love it. I cant wait to upgrade to one of there better models. Which model did you get?
  21. I use fuses, some people I know use circuit breakers (its a personal preference thing).
  22. Ahh pretty boxes are for losers and small db's , just joking. But good luck to all that are going and have fun for me since I cant make it, Texas SSA FTW!
