  1. Haha , i havent seen the Truffle Shuffle in a minute.
  2. Just bought some Ascendant Audio Carbon 7" mids to test against some Seleniums to see if I want to stay the pro audio route or make a switch back to car audio speakers.
  3. , makes you not even want to drive anywhere, thats how I feel.
  4. Yeah there are plenty of places you can look for amps at good prices, check out the For Sale Thread on this forum since people are selling equipment all the time at great prices.
  5. Are you just looking for an amp for highs or what?
  6. Well everyone doesnt own an explorer so dimensions would help and your gonna need to give them anyway so someone can help you so go get a tape measure and find the dimensions your wanting to deal with. You may want to go over the window line or may not so dimensions will help.
  7. That is just marketing man, there both made for the same thing and its not like your gonna need one with high output since your only gonna be running1500 rms at the most. Your fine with either one.
  8. I wouldnt get it but if it falls in your budget and has the power that you need then get it, but if you need help finding an amp then give us budget and what power features your looking for.
  9. It doesnt matter, one takes Large ANL fuses while the other one takes Mini ANL fuses (you pick which one you want to deal with). I would go with the second one.
  10. It would help if you gave the max dimensions you have to work with or nobody will know where to start on designing an enclosure for you, what amp will you be using as well?
  11. Just pm BKOLFO4 on here, he is an AA dealer if your really interested in buying it. He will be able to get you any and all information on AA and there equipment, so when your ready contact him.
  12. I would think any sub that you give almost twice its rms rating too would get loud, im pretty sure it would get loud with its rms. But loud is subjective so that is not a good comment, you may think its loud with 5000 watts and others with 1000 or 2500 watts.
  13. New Texas Tint law !!!! Help Stop IT! - F150online Forums I remember reading this last year but I guess it never went into effect, so I apologize about that little tid bit of info.
  14. Me, me, me I do
  15. yea thats why i havnt gotten mine done yet. but i see tons of people ridin around with dark windows! so will your car even pass inspection if your tint is darker than legal? In Texas, anytime tint is installed by a shop, they are required to put their name on the bottom corner of the glass. When you take your car in for yearly inspection, they are supposed to measure the tint with a light meter. If it violates state laws, they have the authority to remove the tint from your vehicle and phone in the tint shop to the Texas Department of Public Safety. At least, that is how it is supposed to happen. In actuality, it depends on the inspection station. Some don't have light meters. Some do and don't use them. I'm sure there are even some stations that can be bribed. Texas' tint laws are pretty lax, thankfully. 25% to the AS-1 line on the windshield, 25% on the front two doors, no limit on the rest provided you have a functional set of side-view mirrors, and a 25% reflectivity limit all around. Acutally they just raised the tint law in Texas, now it is 35% (passed in the fall) but I could care less. Im doing a 5% strip on front windshield, my rear door windows and rear windshield will be 5% while the front door windows will be 25%. I do miss my 5% tint all the way around but it did make me hit a lot of curbs and came close to talking a few peoples legs out so I dont recommend 5% on a front window but to each its own (roll your window down if around police that avoids a lot of problems).
  16. Tint is pretty much mandatory as far as I'm concerned; interior lasts a whole lot longer and you can use your air conditioning less. x2, couldnt agree with you anymore.
  17. Dude this is sick, good luck on tuning and hope it makes you happy
  18. Just purchased a MB Quart DSC4125, now my temporary highs/mids amp is completed for now until I can get the Zed Audio amp that comes out later on towards year end. I just ordered a pair of Selenium 6W4P for now just to have a little front stage until I can decide on a permanent setup. I will be worrying about the sub stage within the next couple of months but right now im only worried about getting the front stage situated, just a little heads up for anyone interested. Pictures of equipment will be shown when its all here: both MB Quart amps, Clarion H/U, Selenium speakers, O2 speakers and that is it so far.
  19. Never had an issue with amps mounted to my seats at all, I have been doing this since I have been in car audio
  20. Congrats and glad I could find a nice home for my SAZ-2000D (I hope you get to enjoy it since I didnt get a chance to use it yet).
  21. Well Im selling the SAZ-2000D to Hove, right now everything is being revamped (highs, mids, amps, subs). I dont even know where to start right now to be honest with you, its all a blur.
  22. Definitely not worried about SQ and I understand what the Pro Audio drivers are intended and designed for, just waiting for there release right about now.
  23. That enclosure looks like it will enclose two more of those SA-8's, looking good so far.
