  1. Do it because Im gonna want one, then I can have a real meter besides using my Epic -160 to see if certain tweaks helped me or hurt me.
  2. Depends on your electrical upgrades you are willing to put into the car and budget you have for everything. Do you have space for the 18" BTL to fit in its optimal enclosure? If you have all these areas covered then it will be a good setup to start with.
  3. x2, welcome and congrats . I guess I can just wait till things get together for myself and system then join you guys.
  4. The one thing they will tell you is to rotate cold and hot on the knee, so ice pad for like 30 minutes and heating pad for 30 minutes (keep it elevated as much as possible).
  5. I would go with the D3400 for now and replace your factory battery with it, as it will start the car and have some juice for your current system. Then when you upgrade amps and need more power then look at another battery, you may only need a D925 or something as secondary.
  6. Great list of equipment my friend
  7. x2, about the only time you ever see pot holes is when the temperatures are low. Never a problem during the summer time.
  8. Well if they are off the deck and some songs sound bad then turn the volume down, hopefully your not turning your volume knob past 75% of max volume. What do you have your eq settings at on the head unit?
  9. Considering you didnt give us the model number or specs on the speakers it will be hard to tell what to cross them at plus all that will be relative to how much power they are receiving and the frequency they are crossed at. Install them and start at around 100Hz and work your way down to where they can handle the power at that frequency level. You will know they are stressing if they start distorting and sounding back, either back off on the power or turn the frequency filter higher.
  10. You know im joking with you, just wanted to throw a few blows at you
  11. nice flex you have my friend . What do you have in there for mids and highs?
  12. Keep working and no breaks

Happy Birthday Mark, dont get to wasted tonight.
  14. Most systems you can leave the phase at 0* but you can play with it to see if sounds better since its relative. You mean Low Pass Filter, depending on where you have your mids crossed at is where you want this to be set (generally 60-80Hz, but some do gas high as 100Hz). Ask the person who built the box for you to give you the plans for it and somebody on here could tell you what it is tuned to and the exact volume if you dont trust buddy.
  15. What is the voice coil configuration of your subs, do you need the power at 1 ohm or 2 ohms?
  16. I hate chasers with my liquor, rather have it straight any day with 2 or 3 ice cubes depending on size. I definitely enjoy my Crown Royal and Hennessey the most.
  17. That had nothing to do with the amp more so user error, I wouldnt get one of those amps but that is not the reason why.
  18. Excellent work on the baffle, cant wait to see how this turns out
  19. Looking real good so far, keep up the good work . What are you tuned at?
  20. but seriously more information will help us help you buddy.
  21. You definitely dont want to do that, especially if you dont have a good electrical.
  22. Sounding good will come down to the box and install, possibly with the box they came in it wont sound good. If not then just get a box built for them, this will be the cheapest route since your strapped for cash.
