  1. Oh states without much wind, if 20mph is something to remark at, that is pretty bad. You need to visit Kansas where 20mph is a normal breezy day. one of the fun things about Lubbock in the summer: 60 and 70 MPH gusts accompanied by tornado watches/warnings I definitely didnt say this was going to be the worst of it, just saying how the storm season is starting (it will get worse and I know everybody has worse weather conditions then me, that is a given).
  2. Yes I do because that will clean the roads and make it safe to get the bike out, send some rain my way. Ok I got you, we have a few more days this week of expected rain. Usually around this time of year it rains close to 4 days out of the week, give or take a day.
  3. We just got done getting a heavy dose of what is expected from our Severe Weather Season which starts this month, lots of heavy rain with 20+ mph wind gusts (gotta love Spring Storms).
  4. Yeah you will love it, havent looked back since joining this place. Glad your hear
  5. x2, I always back in when I park, especially as close to a tree or light pole so nobody can gain access to my trunk at all.
  6. Not a problem at all, I ran across it one time i was interested in Kinetik Batteries and was doing some research on there company.
  7. Have you tested your alternator to see if it is doing what it is supposed to do, dont know to much about Rhino Alternators.
  8. So far all I have done is the Big2. Pictures of that tonight and of all my equipment I currently have. (Plus the game plan.) Welcome to the Big 2 club as well, wont finish it up till i get a HO Alternator. Im watching this like late breaking news.
  9. Not a problem at all, dont forget pictures of the build log and install.
  10. 74* tomorrow with plenty of sun shine, I finally put the top on the box. All I have to do left is cut out the hole for the sub and caulk up the hole for the speaker wire.
  11. Go to Kinetik's site and use there calculator, that is what it is there for.
  12. Use them and see how they do for you (they may suprise you) and if they dont get the job done then sell them.
  13. Just because your headunit says 4 volts/5volts or 2 volts pre-out it wont see that anyway so it wont matter how high you go with a line driver. I used a line driver before and if used wrong or you dont know what your doing then you will kill some speakers. If your system isnt missing anything then you dont need anything, now if you want to buy something then all means it is your money so buy it.
  14. , seems like everyone gave you the information you needed to know . Good luck with the install and dont forget pictures.
  15. To me I guess it is a preference thing (now will it affect the sound I dont know since I never had experience with it), yeah you can invert a sub in either a ported or sealed enclosure.
  16. If you mean inverted then yeah it will change the airspace by how much displacement the subwoofer has, so if your subwoofer is 0.15ft^3 then add that to the internal volume area. Your internal volume and port will change slightly, nothing audible to the ear.
  17. Your first step is to get the max dimensions of the area you have dedicated to an enclosure and somebody on here will be able to assist you. (height x width x depth)
  18. That is just a default setting since it is free shipping on the subwoofer.
  19. Yeah that is cool, Jacob told me to shoot for 12in^2/ per cube with my application so that should work.
  20. Ask a term lab that question for an accurate answer instead of some from me or others on this forum.
  21. I doubt you will burn them out since they are rated at 60-70 rms, call Eric (ID Tech) @ 866-933-1414 ext. 101 if you need some more assistance. After you try it let me know if the change in output.
  22. I may be wrong but I dont think your supposed to set your high amps with a DMM, cant remember why but I think your not supposed to considering they wont shine until you play a 10,000 hz tone in a song. I would try setting them by ear first and see if it makes a difference.
