I need to try this one day with my tweeters and put them on axis, this will get done during the spring or summer when I want to take on glassing.

Blues Production Sub's. . . . . . . Remember
That is that , how are you gonna deduct some points because somebody didnt wash there car. It is about the SQ (there preference of it anyway), not who's got the cleaner car even though it makes the car look more appealing but not sound more appealing.

No need for rears in a car
Im not disagreeing with anybody but I feel it is a personal preference, Im not shooting for an accurate soundstage or to be in any SQ competitions. I dont like concerts period, never have and never will especially sound wise (maybe Im backwards). Im more of a surround sound kinda guy, love it (that club effect where music is coming from everywhere or movies). To me if you want it then go for it since it is your car and your sound preferences. To see if you want it then do a simple test like I did. Since I already had speaker holes cut out in my rear doors already, it was easy for me. I installed some speakers back there and did a test run with only the speakers up front playing and it did good and sounded good (did this while sitting in the backseat). Then I turned the rear speakers on to me it made sound difference, more to my liking. I could deal with just a front stage but dont want to. 99% of the people on here will tell you to just take all speakers out and only use the one in the front doors, to me that is there preference and its the right way. But hey sometimes you gotta do what you want to do since you will be the only one of this forum listening to it everyday, and if you like that sound of speakers in the rear door then go for it. If you dont like then just stick with your front stage and call it day. Just my .02

I hate hypocrites, dont do something then frown upon me for doing the same thing. He is probably just made how your car has more bass than his house.

speaker cut out
Well I had plenty of rca problems where the rca jacks were messed up and only cut off if I turned, my subs were thumping or hit a bump. Other times it was the rcas being pinched or bent when getting plugged in with tight spaces. Usually to tell just let the system play with no subs and shake the rca wire by the amp, not hard or anything. If it doesnt cut out then more than likely it is the amp.

Welcome to the IHoP
That goes to show you how much I knew, now I know real fruit is the way to go. That was in my lazy days, now I take the time to eat real fruit. I usually eat a banana and orange for breakfast for the least, sometimes Ill cook something depending how Im feeling.

Welcome to the IHoP
Yeah I used to almost eat a can a day of those Dole Pineapples in college, I would freeze them for a little more than hour depending if they were cold or not.

Powerful small footprint amps.
To me its a personal preference and to each its own, just build a sturdy box and follow the tips in my previous post. You will be good put up a build log when you start the install.

Sundown SA-8 Pre-Sale
I dont think it is a big difference or even noticeable one between a separate or shared chamber. The only advantage of having a separate one is if one of your subs fail you could play it without any problems since it is basically in its own enclosure.

Powerful small footprint amps.
Actually I did find you one, spoke to soon: http://www.stetsom.com.br/eng/DetalhesProduto.aspx?c=7836&cat=172 I mounted mine to the box in the past (and will do in the future) with no problems as along with others on this page. Not trying to persuade you to do it but if you do good bracing and put some foam pads under your amps feet you will be fine (just an option).

Powerful small footprint amps.
You will be able to find a smaller footprint amp for this first two options but for the mono amp I doubt you will find a 3000 or better @ 1ohm with a small footprint.

speaker cut out
It sounds like an rca problem or something on the amp may be loose causing it to vibrate more than normal when the subs are running.

Welcome to the IHoP
Saw there were places in northern Minnesota that were around -20 today. So it was probably like -30 in Canada. That is absurd. I've never even felt -10 before I don't think. I have in Cleveland Michigan when I was younger and you talking about cold as balls. The whole car ride there was no heat period, never again will I go up North in the winter.

Fi BTL "15 Subwoofer Enclosure Recomendations
You need to invest in a voltmeter to be able to watch your voltage also so you can know if your harming your system or electrical on your car. I would recommend that you sell that cap and do the Big 3 asap. Just my .02
