Cant suggest one as Im on the hunt for one myself. But it depends on preference, some put it to the batterymto monitor overall voltage. Others put it on the amp to see exactly what the amp is doing.

I was just joking above, haha. No American Bass is not made in the USA, honestly no amp is made in the USA. The only one that might be is the D'Amore Engineering amp, it has a hefty price tag on it.

Sounds like you speak of just opinions and not experiences. I been using raw drivers made for home audio as well for years and better than their car audio counterparts.

Half the time it's not the buildhouse but the companies who will choose between higher quality parts vs lower quality parts to put in their amps to control cost.

There is no better. Every install is different. Plain and simple. Now for high voltage, Brazillian will be better as I dont think the other companies make them.

If you get a decent headunit, there wont be a need for the Clarion EQ.

Yes the the tweeter seems to be the same, the new one is encased in a plastic mounting cup. To fit in the install location it seems as they took off the plastic cup to make it fit. Only way to really tell if they are the same is to take the back off and compare.
