  1. Volkswagen sent me a few parts in this big ass box haha. Finally getting around to replacing some panels that scratched and dinged up by the shop this past summer.
  2. Yes I would collapse it for sure, no point in keeping it the way it is if there is no recent content or traffic. Just my .02
  3. Wiring is complete for the relocation of the pop trunk button and the speaker is back installed on the door pod.
  4. Started a new project today and I'm almost finished, I'll complete it tomorrow. I'm working on the pop trunk button relocation since the shop didn't even attempt to do it when he built my doors. There will be a gap that's temporary until I get to my friend's cnc machine to make a mounting ring for it to hide the gap in the panel.
  5. Thanks man I appreciate it, this is by far my best enclosure and I freaking loved the all white one but it stood out way to much. This blends so much better and is just all around beautiful. I will be getting rid of that Odyssey AGM Group 31 battery and will be saving either 69 or 61 lbs. by switching to Lithium. The Odyssey weighs 77.8 lbs., each Lithium battery weighs 8 lbs. My box builder told me to start with one XS power Titan 8 as it is more powerful than both of my batteries (underhood and trunk). If I need more I'll upgrade to two in the future. My rear driver's side suspension will love me in the run with the weight reduction.
  6. It's hard to get good pictures with the trunk light because it's so damn bright, but in person it's perfect. The entire interior of the enclosure is covered in blue light. I'm glad I didnt pay for the LEDs I usually get installed in the enclosure because I never use them anyway. 20221104_115949.mp4
  7. looks dope and I love the progress so far. I can't wait to see this wall
  8. I will take some night shots one day soon, as much as I loved the white enclosure with the blue lights it stood out way too much at times. I didn't want it covered in bed liner again so I went back with the traditional carpet look and it came out fantastic.
  9. This enclosure turned out bad ass, I even had my builder make a matching beauty board to keep the enclosure in place.
  10. This light is so bright it's hard to get decent pictures with them on but it came out dope
  11. Had to clean up the wiring some since it's exposed but can barely be seen, separated power/ground from RCA signal wire. Y'all know I'm OCD about wire management especially if I can see it.
  12. Used this ammo to hold these volt meters in place while the double-sided tape adheres to the panels.
  13. Permanently mounted the cars' main voltage meter with double sided tape, looks damn good if you ask me.
  14. I needed to clear my mind so I worked on the car, got two things accomplished. I figured out how to remove this side panel to get access to my gear box area in my center console. I moved the USB cord coming from my radio from the passenger side where the shop installed it, to the driver side for ease of use. I also made a permanent spot for my car's main volt meter which monitors my up front voltage. I'm working on a spot for my Sundown amp bass knob/volt meter next. The volt meter will cover the factory USB port since it is no longer needed, hence why I drilled a hole in the housing to feed the wire. I'll use double sided tape to hold it down tomorrow once I clean the area with alcohol.
  15. I sure did look for some Xcon or Zcon 12s when I was buying subs, they were at the top of my list but no luck. Still mad I've never tried an Xcon till this day.
  16. This is how it looks now after the work I did earlier, I'm happy with the outcome.
  17. These next photos were before I put some work into the car because of my OCD, hated the excess wire I had goin into my DSP. So I untaped it and cut the three excess wires for a cleaner install. I also made the Sundown Salt-4k remote wire smaller since it the connectors on these Audio Control doesn't accept big gauge speaker wire well, especially with thick wire jackets.
  18. If I were competing then I would have but for daily I'll be ok with the D1s. But I appreciate ya though
