  1. Cool story bro, over 2 years late though
  2. Looking good so far
  3. Someone was listening, haha good to hear man.
  4. Not bad really, ive done and seen worse. I would try to wrap those tweeters mounts in black carpet at least, would look better in my opinion.
  5. what are the specs on the enclosure?
  6. Why not go with a 6" aero port if your dimensions don't allow for more port area or an overall bigger enclosure. The only way to tell if it is insufficient port area is to model the driver. How much power do you plan on using? For daily 47square inches of port may be perfect, so you never know. Some people do use larger ports for number chasing.
  7. Its a nice design, as long as it meets the specs or modeled for the subwoofer I don't see what else there is to say. Just make sure it is well constructed.
  8. Nice updates, that front stage seems to do well with that setup.
  9. Because the person who commented above you commented recently, which leads to it becoming a recent thread. All you have to do is look at the post dates.
  10. Sucks man, hopefully you get a knock at the door with a package soon.
  11. I wanted to become a Dentist but let my pops talk me out of it and got a Business Administration degree.
  12. Badass video man. Specs on enclosure if you don't mind me asking.
  13. Good shit man, nothing like having bass again.
  14. I would save up more and buy a custom enclosure rather than prefab, it will be worth it in the long run. Try Thumperr on here: http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/topic/63299-enclosure-pricing-for-2015/
  15. Get your money back. Regardless if they built it to Sundowns specs it was not built to what you wanted. Did you provide a design and/or cutsheet when you went? If so do you still have a copy? You dont build a box the way you want too just because you're a shop. The customer is always right even when wrong sometimes. They might of not liked your design or felt like it wouldnt perform better than a box built to Sundowns specs. But that doesnt give them the right to just change the design without speaking to the customer. Use your words and be cool headed, something should get resolved.
  16. Love the video, I miss long ass videos of shows. Seems as not too many people do them anymore.
  17. Looking good so far.
  18. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/topic/47977-impedance/
  19. So why do people say "im raising to or after box rise I'm at" thanks for looking for me by the wayJust a common misconception really. Yes impedence fluctuates but it doesn't just rise. 95Honda is the man to talk to as he knows this subject way more than me.
  20. No such thing as rise, Im guessing your trying to find ways to build a more efficient enclosure. There is a write on here about impedence, I'll try to find it.
  21. Those two all black one's are tits.
  22. Stuffing sheets, towels and pillows wont really give you the full affect to make proper judgement, at least for me it didnt. Big difference to actually being sealed off, just my .02
