Yes you would need a second mini-dsp for subwoofer unless you want to use the IA20.1s crossover features.

Those subs wont benefit at all from 12 gauge wire, dont waste the time and money. Now on the other hand the Ethos will need bigger than the 14 gauge wire, 10 should suffice.

Some amps have a soft turn on thump and some dont. If the same amps were in before doing upgrades and changes and its one of thise thats thumping, then check all your grounds. Might not have a good ground on your rear battery. Cool story bro

Low volume will take longer for the soft parts to loosen up, like I stated earlier there is no such thing as breaking in a subwoofer.

Really no such thing as breaking in a sub, yes the subwoofers soft parts loosen up over time. On some subs it takes longer then others. Play the sub within it's limits and enjoy my friend.
