my 1000D is on his way now! It is making a world tour before, as I can see with the UPS tracking. I hope it will come safe and in a good shape!!! Pretty sure now that I will get it next week.

Hello, I am buying a 15" Xcon for a friend of mine(he gives me the cash, it's really not a gift !!!). He builds enclosure for some shops around here. He has a 15" Kicker S15L7 in a 6 ft3 sealed enclosure with about 1300watts rms of power. It's the best sounding L7 I've ever heared : huge amount of bass, great low end notes,... How can he achieve that with the Xcon ? Would it be better with a sealed or a ported enclosure? Few people seems to use the Xcon in sealed boxes, how is the output in sealed boxes ? He has a little trunk, the 6ft3 enclosure takes all of it! We made some mesurements, and here is what he can afford now : 35cm*49cm*80cm or in inches : 14" * 19.6" * 32". These are the exterior dimensions and give 4.9 ft3 total. 4.9ft3 sealed net or less for a ported enclosure ? What are his best options for output and quality ? Thanks for your help

Hi, I am buying a 15"Xcon sub these days, and I need a ported box design. I would love to order it from FC, but I live too far away, shipping costs would be HUGE ! I'm in Martinique, in the French Caribeeans! I have the dimensions that I can afford in the car : 35cm(H)* 49cm(L)* 80cm(l) 14" * 19.6" * 32" What can I expect? How to have some real good plans? I don't want to use round pvc tube ports this time, so I will not be able to re-adjust the box; no mistake permitted with this kind of design ! Hello, I have just purchase a SAZ1000D but I wonder if this amp really accept 0 gauge power wire? I have 0 ga from the battery to a distribution block in the trunk, then 4 ga to my 2 amps. Is it good enough for the Sundown I'm waiting for? Or do I have to change the distribution block to power the new amp with o ga wire? Btw, how long should I wait for the tracking number, pleaaaaaase?!!!! Thanks

You're talking about sealed or ported? Before or after driver displacement? Nothing for the 12" model ? Same thing? I looked around here, and I see everybody running those in ported boxes. Maybe they're not good in sealed boxes?

Ok I will try a 1 ohm stable amp! 1000 or 1500 watts : I will see how much money I can put on it! Sundown seems to be the way to go! Audioque don't deliver in my country, and the other ones are so expensive. Thanks for your answers.
