  1. I'm 40 and still got bass in my car ! Can't live without that !!!
  2. The pics are sooo nice. Your cam must be a serious one. They look fantastic on my phone. Great show, beautiful cars,... I love Jon's car BTW.
  3. Nothing more ? thanks Dangrebel.
  4. Cabin geometry plays a big role . You're right BIGC. I heared some setups in my car; and in another (smaller and different one) and all I can say is that it was soooo different ! It was hard to beleive. My car was always the quieter one.
  5. some SSA members are members there too ! ;-)
  6. More and more people ask me about recone kits. They don't know where or how to order (they don't speak English !). I've tried PAP for a Soundstream XXX18", and the owner was ot happy with it. I've tried PSI for another SS XXX 18", and so far so good the owner is happy (he did 150.ish last week end; with one sub). But he does not play very often. Just received another one for a Lanzar opti 15". Lot of people say PSI parts are bad, like PAP, and It is difficult to order something custom from Fi. Where do you order your recone kits ? I'm looking for a good manufacturer. I don't want any more problem with my "customers". What other choices do I have ? Thanks for your help.
  7. But the Icon can be very loud to. You want 140dbs with just one 12" ? Not easy. If you want to play music too, it will be harder ! Just my 2 cents.
  8. I run my 4 ch amp in bridged mode to one set of speakers in the front. I did not use any y-splitter, but I already had 2 sets of rca ready. I don't remember exactly how my installer set it up, but I do know he had to reverse something ! Like Street Legal said, I think so. Good luck !
  9. No it is not -- FR Class-D to get the small size. interesting. I have a few friends looking for powerful and small amps for their speakers. I'll make them look at those.
  10. Their products are sold on the SSA store, here. Ask [email protected] : fast and reliable answers ! I'm in a foreign country too, and they take good care of me everytime I need something.
  11. Maybe I missed it, but what score did you reach with your different setups ? Been metered yet ?
  12. I love it ! The writing is big. But it is beautiful.
  13. I've just talked to him. He can fit 2 10" in his doors. Can he use 2 10" neopro Sundown with a powerful tweeter like the Beyma one ? I don't know if the Sundown can play high enough. Got to check that. Hope they are available. He does not want Audiopipe at all. Too much people use that here.
  14. He is not going for no SQ competitions, and will probably have to get an external processor. I know nothing about P A speakers, but locally people use them more and more. Budget : about $300 total for both sets of 6.5.
  15. A friend of mine has just sold his 3 sets of Focal 6.5", and he wants to run P A speakers to be louder. He runs an Infinity amp (4 x 125 w rms @ 4 Ohms) and don't want to change amp or to add one more. He was going to get Beyma speakers (the pro series I think) but he wants to know what else can he get ? 2 sets of 6.5" speakers for the front doors. Nothing in the rear, except his 18" Soundstream XXX in a big ported box. He want something that can be loud but with good midbass. The tweeters will be a set of Beyma available locally: they get sooo loud ! He looked at the sundown neo pro, but never listenend to them. Is it a good choice over the Beyma ? What other options can he find ? Thanks for your help.
  16. Thanks, guys ! I love the N2 ! The only sub I could use are the SSA subs, or maybe the Sundown Zv3.
  17. Spend your money on the front speakers. You don't need nothing in the back, unless it's subs ! Db Drive ? If you're happy with them, why not ? I've never listened to them, so I can't talk too much. Why do you want 2 subs ? You can be good with only one ! Give us a budget, and the external dimensons of th box you want to fit in the trunk. We can start from there.
  18. You think they can fit in your doors ?!!!
  19. to the forum ! You need to read more on the forum, and then come back with your questions.
  20. Joyeux anniversaire !
  21. You can do what you want, but 400 is 400 ! Maybe it can't be much louder with this power. What h u do you have ? If the voltage is too low from the h u, you will need to have the gain high enough. Ooh it's a Pioneer.Try to turn the bass level to the max before setting the gain on the amp. It's what I did on all my Pioneer h u. Good luck.
  22. Take a look at Darvex.com, madisound.com, parts-express.com. They often have stores on ebay : knuconceptz has one too on ebay. They'll have all you need. Find a T that admits 0 Ga in, and 2 0Ga out : you will have one 0 ga for an amp and the 2nd out can accept any wire if it is smaller than 0 Ga. You can use 0Ga wire and trim it down near your amp. Or find a reducer. I'd rather trim the wire.
  23. I want to see that. Tuned in !
