  1. Lot of work ! niiice results. Why do you tune your box/wall so low ? Maybe you can tune higher to hit higher numbers ? But it won't sound the same for sure !
  2. or single Sundown SA8 (or SA10) ported on 400 w rms. 2ft3 gross ? Single 8" ported. Take a look at the SSA Dcon with your 400 watts.
  3. You really want to spend money on rear speakers ?! You'd better protect them from your sub if you wantthem to last long. IMO you need mid range and high frequencies there. Not much midbass. I'd get the 2 way set. But I'm not an expert at all. It may be better to spend that money on better speakers for your front stage. I'm not saying the RF are bad ! But with more money you can find better ones. Good luck.
  4. Wow ! Nice hairtricks ! What kind of car is it ? 0.5v for daily or just for tricks and numbers ?
  5. Optima is the only brand we can find in my island with a real manufacturer warranty. As there is an official dealer here. So, my next batt should be an Optima. The Kinetic, Batcap, and the others are hard to find, expensive and with no warranty here. I think they are not so bad. A friend of mine uses a blue one for 7 years !!!!! He bought a big Xs power to have a new batt, but after only one year it died ! Don't know why.
  6. A single 2000 watts amplifier is enough for 2 Icons for daily music listenings.
  7. Dylan is still making designs ? You're going ported or sealed ? I had an xcon 15" in a 3ft3 sealed box, and it sounded awesome : clean AND loud. But I love ported enclosures !
  8. I'd say XCON ! Good luck
  9. Should be nice. Tuned in
  10. Take of the fuse so your amplifier does not turn on every time you tun on your stereo. IF you have nothing on it. I think it tries to put out max power when there is no load on the amp. (I may be wrong though)
  11. It was loud, but now it will be insane in this car !!! Keep working ! I'm tuned in.
  12. I always try to hide those LEDs. They are too bright for my taste, and I don't want to show anybody that I have amps in my car ! Find some used amp for that kind of power on the cheap. old JL A1800 D : they were cheap brand new.
  13. They look biiiiig ! What's the plan for them ? How many do you have ?
  14. Nice work so far ! Waiting for more pics !!
  15. Happy birthday ! We don't see you too often around here these days. Come bacccckkkkkk !!!
  16. Fi BL ? Or 2 SA 10 ported ? With $500 you can find a BTL N2, or quite any sub used.
  17. "connected the bass boost", on a saz 2500 ? The remote ? It's a gain knoob, not a bass boost. Turn your real bass boost at 0 ON the amplifier please. You can have a good enough box if you use aeroports. You won't have room for a slot ported box at all.
  18. db-r.com for refurbished amps. or look for Audioque website for brand new amps.
  19. That's insane !!! What do you have for front speakers ? I doubt it's a spl-only vehicle ! I'd love to listen to a setup like that one day.
  20. I love the Ford Edge. I saw a lot of them in St Marteen (Caribbean island) last year. There is only one Edge in my country. I can see me driving one in the future ! BTW your car and install are fantastic. Great work. Congratulations
  21. Can you tell me why do you have so much equipments or processors ? Epic 160, DQXS,,...etc ? I don't know what they do, but it's a lot !
  22. There are good people on SSA. I love that ! :-)
  23. If you just put the port in the box, that will take up volume in the box. It will not be a 1.5 ft3 box.
